The women's doubles tennis event of the 2019 Pan American Games was held from July 30 through August 3 at the Club Lawn Tennis de La Exposcicion in Lima, Peru. [1]

Usue Aroncada and Caroline Dolehide of the United States won the gold medal, defeating Verónica Cepede Royg and Montserrat González of Paraguay in the final, 6–0, 6–4.

Carolina Alves and Luisa Stefani of Brazil won the bronze medal, defeating Alexa Guarachi and Daniela Seguel of Chile in the Bronze-medal match, 2–6, 7–5, [11–9].

Caroline Dolehide is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 102 in July 2018. Her best performances on the WTA Tour came in doubles at the 2019 and the 2022 US Open events where she reached semifinals with Vania King and Storm Sanders, respectively, and also at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. Dolehide has a career-high doubles ranking of 21, set in May 2022 and has won one WTA Tour title and 15 titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, six in singles and nine in doubles.

Francesca Di Lorenzo and Ronit Yurovsky were the defending champions, but decided not to compete together. Di Lorenzo partnered with Ingrid Neel, but lost in the semifinals to Kimberly Birrell and Caroline Dolehide. Yurovsky partnered with Alexa Guarachi, but lost in the first round to Di Lorenzo and Neel.

The mixed doubles tennis event of the 2019 Pan American Games was held from July 30 through August 3 at the Club Lawn Tennis de la Exposición in Lima, Peru.

Eugenie Bouchard and Sofia Kenin were the defending champions, but chose not to participate this year.

Robin Anderson and Jessika Ponchet were the defending champions when the event was held as an ITF W60 event in 2019, but Ponchet was unable to participate due to insufficient ranking. Anderson played alongside Erin Routliffe but lost in the first round to Kaitlyn Christian and Giuliana Olmos.

Usue Maitane Arconada and Caroline Dolehide were the defending champions but chose to participate with different partners. Arconada partnered Marta Kostyuk but lost in the first round to Francesca Di Lorenzo and Jamie Loeb. Dolehide partnered Caty McNally, but lost in the semifinals to Magdalena Fręch and Katarzyna Kawa.

Nicole Melichar and Xu Yifan were the defending champions but Melichar chose not to participate. Xu partnered Yang Zhaoxuan, but they lost in the semifinals to Hayley Carter and Luisa Stefani.

Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová were the two-time defending champions, but they chose not to participate.

Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe were the defending champions but Guarachi chose to compete at Rome instead.

Nicole Melichar and Demi Schuurs were the defending champions but Schuurs chose not to participate. Melichar played alongside Vivian Heisen, but they lost in the semifinals to Alexa Guarachi and Desirae Krawczyk.

Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková were the defending champions from when the tournament was last held in 2019, but withdrew before the tournament began.

Samantha Stosur and Zhang Shuai defeated Coco Gauff and Caty McNally in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 to win the women's doubles title at the 2021 US Open. It was Stosur's fourth major title in women's doubles and eighth major overall, as well as Zhang's second major title; this was the team's second major title, following the 2019 Australian Open. This was the first major final for Gauff and for McNally.

Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan defeated Asia Muhammad and Ena Shibahara in the final, 7–5, 7–6(7–4) to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters. They became the first all-Chinese team to win a WTA 1000-level title.

Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula defeated Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Ellen Perez in the final, 6–4, 6–7(5–7), [10–5] to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 Canadian Open. With the win, Gauff gained the WTA number 1 doubles ranking for the first time, becoming the second-youngest player to attain the No. 1 ranking in history, after Martina Hingis in 1997. Elise Mertens and Zhang Shuai were also in contention for the top ranking.
