Terrence Durham

Terrence Durham is an American professional basketball player.

Born in Albany, the 6'8" center was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, which he attended from 1995 to 1999.

He signed his first professional contract in 2000 with Plymouth Raiders, then playing in the second-tier National Basketball League. After one season with the Raiders, Durham moved to Portugal to play with semi-pro teams Sampaense (2001–02) and GD Fabril (2002–03), both in the lower leagues. In 2003, he returned to Plymouth for his second spell at the club, and within one season saw the Raiders elected to the fully professional top-tier BBL. Durham then had a trial at Reims Champagne Basket in France, but returned to Plymouth in 2007. [1] He left Plymouth after the 2009/10 season. [2]

Sport in Plymouth, Devon, England, dates back to the 19th century with its first club, Plymouth United F.C., being founded in 1886. It is the largest city in England never to have had a football team in the first tier of English football. It is home to Plymouth Argyle Football Club, who play in the Football League One at the Home Park stadium in Central Park. It is Plymouth's only professional football team, however the city used to have another team called Plymouth United F.C. dating back to 1886. The club takes its nickname from the group of English non-conformists that left Plymouth for the New World in 1620: the club crest features the Mayflower, which carried the Pilgrims to Massachusetts and the club's mascot is named Pilgrim Pete.

There was also uncertainty regarding the participation of reigning champions Mersey Tigers, who had to postpone their first game due to off-court problems and operational issues.
