Terrible Things is the debut album by alternative rock supergroup Terrible Things. The lineup during the recording consisted of former Taking Back Sunday guitarist and The Color Fred lead vocalist Fred Mascherino, guitarist and vocalist Andy Jackson from Hot Rod Circuit, and drummer Josh Eppard from Coheed and Cambria fame.
"Lullaby" was originally a song by Mascherino's former group Breaking Pangaea, and "Terrible Things" was originally a song by The Color Fred, Mascherino's solo project. Originally called "Initials" the band later changed their name to "Terrible Things" as well as the album title, in addition to the song name. Lynam frontman Jacob Bunton has recorded the bass and piano on the album as the band didn't have a permanent bassist at the time.
On April 26, 2010, "Revolution" was made available for streaming through the group's Myspace account. [2] The track was later released as a single on May 25. [3] On July 15, Terrible Things was announced for release in the following month. As part of this announcement, two songs were made available for streaming: "Wrap Me Up" through AbsolutePunk and "Lullaby" through Alternative Press . In July and August, the group performed a handful of dates on the Warped Tour. Terrible Things was released on August 31 through major label Universal Motown Records. The artwork features Mascherino's two children having a tea party with a dollhouse on fire behind them. He said it was representative of the arson incidents in Coatesville. In October and November, the group went on a US tour with Mae and Windsor Drive. [4] On November 19, a music video released for "Revolution", [5] directed by David Brodsky. [6] In late September and early October 2011, the band toured Australia as part of the Soundwave Counter-Revolution festival. [7]

Taking Back Sunday is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes and bassist Jesse Lacey in 1999. The band's members currently are Adam Lazzara, John Nolan, Shaun Cooper and Mark O'Connell (drums), accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. Among the band's former members include Lacey, Reyes and guitarist and vocalist Fred Mascherino.
Josh Eric Eppard is an American musician from Kingston, New York and the drummer for progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. He has worked as a solo rapper under the name Weerd Science and was the drummer for supergroup rock band Terrible Things. Josh was a founding member of the Woodstock, NY new prog outfit 3 along with his brother Joey and studio engineer Chris Bittner.

The band got their name by a poll taken on the internet and The Color Fred was declared as the fans' favorite name. The band was started while he was in the band Breaking Pangaea. The Color Fred was featured on a compilation by Equal Vision Records in 2005. Mascherino has worked with Macbeth Athletics to design and produce the F. P. Mascho, as part of Macbeth's Studio Projects. The shoe displayed the drawings of Jude Ianelli that also appeared on The Color Fred's official website, and some lyrics.

New Again is the fourth studio album by American rock band Taking Back Sunday. When guitarist Fred Mascherino left the group after the Projekt Revolution tour ended in September 2007, band members took a break after years of touring. New Again was recorded in October and November 2008 at several studios in New York and California with David Kahne and Matt Squire as producers. Matthew Fazzi of Facing New York joined Taking Back Sunday in early 2008. He was praised by vocalist Adam Lazzara and the group's manager for incorporating new instruments into the group's sound. 10 Years is an American alternative metal band formed in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, lead guitarist Brian Vodinh, rhythm guitarist Matt Wantland, bassist Chad Grennor, and drummer Luke Narey. The group has gone through multiple line-up changes since their inception, with Vodinh and Wantland being the only remaining founding members.
