Terrence Envoh is a Nigerian footballer. He currently plays for Enugu Rangers. [1]
Envoh began his career with LEA Primary School Tudun Wada and signed in 2007 with Mighty Jets of Jos Nigeria. His talent was soon discovered by Nigerian premier league side Sharks F.C. of Port Harcourt where he played regularly as a winger / attacking midfielder. [2] He moved to Bayelsa United for the 2013 season after unsuccessful trials in Switzerland. In February 2014, he followed coach John Obuh to Rangers of Enugu.
Envoh played for the Nigeria national under-17 football team at 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Nigeria and scored one goal against South Korea, Nigeria lost to Switzerland in the finals of the competition. [3] He was also a member of the Nigerian U-20 squad at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup. [4]
Rangers International Football Club, commonly known as Enugu Rangers, is a Nigerian professional association football team founded in 1970. Based in Enugu, the Rangers play their home games at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. John Sam Obuh is a Nigerian football coach. He was most recently the coach of Akwa United F.C. He was in charge of Nigeria's under-17 national team during the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup after leaving Kwara United due to a contract dispute. On 20 July 2013 Obuh resigned as Manager of the Nigerian under-20 team. On 29 October 2013 Obuh became the Manager of Enugu Rangers. Obuh was later sacked as manager of Enugu Rangers and was replaced by Kelechi Emeteole. Obuh was again appointed manager of Kwara United on 16 January 2016. In August 2019, Obuh was appointed Technical adviser and head coach of Akwa United, replacing Rafael Everton.
