The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is the governing body for the men's and women's professional squash circuit. The body operates in a similar fashion to the ATP and the WTA for tennis. The PSA's highest professional level, the PSA World Tour involves over 250 tournaments annually around the world. Over 1200 players from all the 5 continents are registered with the PSA and rankings are updated monthly based on players' performances.

Nour El Sherbini is an Egyptian professional squash player. She is a seven time World champion and became the youngest woman to win the Women's World Championship (2015). The Women's Open International de Squash de Nantes 2016 is the women's edition of the 2016 Open International de Squash de Nantes, which is a tournament of the PSA World Tour event Challenger. The event took place at La Maison du Squash in Sautron and at La Cité International des Congrès in Nantes in France from 8 to 11 of September. Hana Ramadan won her first Open International de Nantes trophy, beating Rachael Chadwick in the final.
The 2018–19 PSA World Tour is the international squash tour organised circuit organized by the Professional Squash Association (PSA) for the 2018 squash season. It's the 4th PSA season since the merger of PSA and WSA associations in 2015.

Maha Zein is a former Egyptian professional squash player who also currently serves as a squash coach. She represented Egypt national women's squash team in several international competitions including the British Open Squash Championships, World Open Squash Championships and in World Team Squash Championships in a career spanning from 1993 to 2003. She achieved her highest career PSA ranking of 19 in November 2000 as a part of the 2000 PSA World Tour.

After retiring from playing professionally, she now coaches squash at Abercorn Sports Club in Edinburgh. She represented Scotland national women's squash team in several international competitions including the British Open Squash Championships, World Open Squash Championships and in World Team Squash Championships in a career spanning from 1993 to 2010. She achieved her highest career PSA ranking of 16 in January 1995 as a part of the 1995 PSA World Tour.
Alex Haydon also known as Alexandra Haydon is an Australian professional squash player. She made her maiden Commonwealth Games appearance representing Australia at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She has won the Australian National Junior Squash Championships on seven occasions with all of them being on a consecutive basis from 2013 to 2019. She achieved her highest career PSA world rankings of 74 on 28 November 2022 during the 2022–23 PSA World Tour.
