Texas is a 2010 Lasse Stefanz studio album. [2] For the fourth year in a row, the band topped the Swedish albums chart. For the album, the band was also awarded a Grammis Award in the "Dansband of the Year" category.

Grammis annual Swedish music award

The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The awards were established in 1969 and awarded until 1972 when they were cancelled, then revived in 1987.

Lasse Stefanz

Lasse Stefanz is a Swedish dansband formed in Kristianstad in 1967. The band was popular during the 1980s. The band was formed by Hans Sigfridsson, Lars Sigfridsson and Olle Jönsson. Later members are Christer Ericsson, Anders Pettersson and Gunnar Nilsson. Olle Jönsson is the singer, as well as the ex-drummer. Lasse Stefanz had hits with songs as "Oh, Julie" (1982) and released albums as Peppelinos Bar (1988). 1989-1990, Lasse Stefanz and Christina Lindberg had a Svensktoppen hit with the song "De sista ljuva åren". In 1989, Lasse Stefanz was awarded a Grammis for "Dansband of the year".

Marie Fredriksson discography

The discography of Swedish singer-songwriter Marie Fredriksson consists of eight studio albums, one live album, two compilations, two collaborative albums, two box sets, thirty-eight singles and fifteen music videos. Fredriksson is predominantly known internationally as the lead singer for pop duo Roxette, although she first found success in her native country through her solo albums. Het vind was released in 1984, spawning the top twenty hit "Ännu doftar kärlek". Her second album, Den sjunde vågen, was released in 1986; the same year Roxette released their debut album, Pearls of Passion. In 1987, ... Efter stormen became the first of her four number one albums in Sweden, and was preceded by the title track—her first top ten hit.
