The Automatic band that plays electro

The Automatic are a Welsh rock band. The band is composed of Robin Hawkins on vocals, bass and synthesisers, James Frost on guitar, synthesisers, backing vocals and occasional bass, Iwan Griffiths on drums and Paul Mullen on vocals, guitar and synthesiser – since 2007. Mullen joined after the departure of Alex Pennie, who provided synthesiser, percussion and vocals.

"Recover" is the debut and fourth single by The Automatic, from their debut album Not Accepted Anywhere. Originally released on the 21 November 2005 as a limited 7" vinyl, CD single and digital download the band's record labels - B-Unique & Polydor believed it could perform better and reach a larger audience after the band's success with "Monster". It was released again on 18 September 2006.

With the departure of Alex Pennie, Paul Mullen uses a microKORG during the verse, then in the chorus switches to guitar, Paul also uses a vocoder during many of the vocal parts of the song whilst Rob sings lead vocals during the verse, Frost during the pre-chorus and then Rob again during the chorus.

Alexander Gregor Pennie was previously in Welsh band The Automatic from the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, where he provided backing vocals as well as playing synthesizers and keyboards for the act. Pennie left The Automatic in late 2007. Since then he has been in other bands the latest that ended in 2015.

Elliot Minor were a rock band from York, England. The group consists of Alex Davies, Ed Minton (vocals/guitars), Dan Hetherton and Ed Hetherton (bass).

"Burning in the Skies" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. It was announced as the band's third single from their fourth studio album A Thousand Suns on January 20, 2011, and it was released on March 21. A music video for the single was directed by Joe Hahn, Linkin Park's turntablist.
