AM (formerly known as The AM Show) is a New Zealand morning news and talk show that airs from 6am to 9am on Three. The programme is presented by Ryan Bridge, Melissa Chan-Green, Bernadine Oliver-Kerby and William Wairua. Former presenters included Amanda Gillies, Mark Richardson and Aziz Al-Sa'afin. [1] It was presented by Duncan Garner from 2017 until his resignation in August 2021. News and sport bulletins are provided by Newshub.
The show replaced Paul Henry after it was announced the frontman of the show, Paul Henry, was resigning and therefore the show was going to be replaced. The announcement was made by MediaWorks in November 2016, and Paul Henry last aired on 16 December 2016. The show's reporters are Sinelle Fernandez in Auckland, and Ashleigh McCaull in Wellington.
Before 2022, The AM Show was a hybrid radio and television programme which aired simultaneously on Three and Radio Live (rebranded as Magic Talk in 2019). The show was reformatted and ceased broadcasting on radio, following MediaWorks' decision to end its content supply agreement with Newshub in 2021. [2]
AM Early is a 30-minute early morning bulletin that airs from 5:30 to 6am on Three. The programme provides overnight news updates, as well as business and finance news. It is presented by Bernadine Oliver-Kerby. [3]

1 News is the news division of New Zealand television network TVNZ. The service is broadcast live from TVNZ Centre in Auckland. The flagship news bulletin is the nightly 6 pm news hour, but 1 News also has midday and late night news bulletins, as well as current affairs shows such as Breakfast and Seven Sharp.
Mark Hunter Richardson is a former New Zealand cricketer. He was a left-handed opening batsman. He represented New Zealand in 38 Tests from 2000 to 2004. During his cricketing career he played for Auckland, Buckinghamshire and Otago.

Hilary Ann Barry is a New Zealand journalist and television personality who co-hosts Seven Sharp with Jeremy Wells on TVNZ 1. She was a newsreader on TV3 for many years and until 2016, presented the 6 pm Newshub show with Mike McRoberts. She also worked on the Paul Henry morning TV show since its launch, reading the news. Barry resigned from these roles in April 2016.
Newshub is a New Zealand news service that airs on the television channels Three and Eden, as well as on digital platforms. It formerly operated across radio stations run by MediaWorks Radio until December 2021. The Newshub brand replaced 3 News service on the TV3 network and the Radio Live news service heard on MediaWorks Radio stations on 1 February 2016. In late 2020, MediaWorks sold Newshub to US multimedia company Discovery, Inc. The acquisition was completed on 1 December 2020.
Peter Allan Williams is a New Zealand former broadcaster and sports writer who worked for the national broadcaster TVNZ between 1979 and 2018. His roles with TVNZ included hosting the 1 News 6pm weekend bulletin and serving as the southern editor of TVNZ Sports in Wellington. Between 2019 and 2021, Williams also hosted the morning talkback programme on Magic Talk, a MediaWorks radio network.
Bernadine Oliver-Kerby is a New Zealand broadcaster who formerly co-hosted the breakfast show alongside Jason Reeves on Coast. She has previously worked as a newsreader for both ONE News and Newstalk ZB.

Paul Henry was a New Zealand morning news and talk show that aired weekdays on Three and was simulcast on Radio Live. Its final lineup consisted of host Paul Henry, news anchor Ingrid Hipkiss, sports anchor Jim Kayes and social media anchor Verity Johnson.
