The Agony of... is a collection of conversational-style Australian television programs which originally screened between 2012 and 2015 on ABC1, and later aired in the United States on Vibrant TV Network. The format shows a number of well-known men and women talking to interviewer/narrator Adam Zwar.

Agony Aunts was the winner of Best Light Entertainment Television Series at the 2012 AACTA Awards, Best Local Documentary Series at the 2012 Couch Potato Awards.

The Agony of Life which first screened in 2013 covers stages of life, from child to adult, creating and supporting families, building and managing careers and contemplates the wording of their epitaph. [3]

The Agony of Christmas was a Christmas special that was first screened in December 2013. It featured the same cast seen in The Agony of Life.
The Agony of Modern Manners was a six-part series which screened in 2014, with episodes titled Work, Home, Online, Dining, Travel, Weddings & Funerals. [4]
Agony of the Mind is a special that was first screened in October 2014 focusing on mental weaknesses and techniques for overcoming them. It features Jack Charles, John Elliott, Tom Elliott, Dawn Fraser, Jess Harris, Dave Hughes, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Andrew Knight, Pat McGorry, Lawrence Mooney, Dave O'Neil, Fiona O'Loughlin, Sam Pang, Tim Ross, Chrissie Swan, Yumi Stynes, Julia Zemiro. Myfanwy Warhurst is an Australian radio announcer and television personality, best known for her work at Triple J radio station and on ABC Television's long-running music-themed quiz show Spicks and Specks. As of 2022 she has an ongoing role as Australia's commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Joel Creasey, and as co-host of the weekly podcast Bang On. She also provides the voices of Aunt Trixie and Indy's Mum in the Australian animated show Bluey.

Peter Jason Matthew Helliar is an Australian comedian, actor, television, radio presenter, writer, producer and director. He is best known for his work on television as a former regular co-host of The Project on Network Ten from January 2014 to December 2022, replacing previous presenter Dave Hughes to host alongside Carrie Bickmore, Waleed Aly and Lisa Wilkinson. Helliar also appeared with Rove McManus as his sidekick on The Loft Live from 1997 to 1998, on Rove from 1999 and 2009 and in Before the Game as alter ego Bryan Strauchan. Helliar initially worked the Melbourne comedy circuit in the mid-1990s, performing in various venues and the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He has performed in numerous television ads, most notably for Fernwood Fitness. Helliar has been nominated for the Gold Logie, a prestigious award bestowed upon the Most Popular Personality on Television in 2017.

Zwar also presented and produced seminal cricket documentaries Underarm: The Ball That Changed Cricket and Bodyline: The Ultimate Test which took a forensic look at the infamous 1932–1933 Ashes series between Australia and England.

Jonah from Tonga is an Australian television mockumentary sitcom miniseries that is written by and starring comedian Chris Lilley. The mockumentary series follows Jonah Takalua, a rebellious 14-year-old Australian boy of Tongan descent portrayed by the Anglo-Celtic Australian Lilley in brownface. The character had been introduced in Lilley's 2007 series Summer Heights High. At the conclusion of that series, Jonah was expelled from Summer Heights High School. In this series, his father, Rocky Takalua, has sent him back to his homeland of Tonga to live with his uncle and their family in order to get Jonah's life back on track. The series was highly controversial for its use of brownface and ethnic stereotypes, much like Lilley’s other work; it has been commonly described as racist.
Australia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest eight times since its debut in 2015, the second country outside of the Eurasia region to take part in the contest after Morocco in 1980. The country has been in the top ten five times, with their best result being a second-place finish for Dami Im in 2016, followed by Guy Sebastian finishing fifth in 2015 and Isaiah, Kate Miller-Heidke and Voyager finishing ninth in 2017, 2019 and 2023 respectively.
Stop Laughing...This Is Serious is a conversational-style Australian television documentary program which debuted in 2015 on the ABC. The first season of three episodes is narrated by Eric Bana and features 63 well-known comedians and actors who analyse the history of comedy in Australia and relive their own experiences. It includes Barry Humphries, Andrew Denton, Adam Hills, Shaun Micallef, Garry McDonald, Magda Szubanski and Paul Hogan. The second season, narrated by Colin Lane, screened in 2017. Its title references a famous 1933 cartoon by Stan Cross.
