Brett Alan Tucker (born 21 May 1972) is an Australian actor and singer. He was a series regular in The Saddle Club , McLeod's Daughters , and Mistresses . He is also known for his role as Daniel Fitzgerald in Neighbours . He played Seattle Fire Battalion Chief Lucas Ripley on ABC's TV series Station 19 .

Acting career

Tucker attended National Theatre, Melbourne.

For his role as Dave Brewer on the drama McLeod's Daughters , he apprenticed with a real country veterinarian to research his role. [1]

Tucker's onstage credits include The Woman in Black in 2006, and The Great Gatsby playing Jay Gatsby in 1997. [2]

From 1999 to 2000, he played the role of Daniel Fitzgerald in Neighbours , a role which he returned to in late 2007. In June 2009, it was announced that he would be leaving the show to pursue acting opportunities in the United States. [3] In addition to Neighbours, Tucker played Max in The Saddle Club . Tucker also had a minor role in the 2005 film The Great Raid .

After securing a green card via the visa lottery, Tucker relocated to the United States. [4] He appeared in an episode of Legend of the Seeker , followed by roles in CSI: NY and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation . [4]

In 2012, Tucker appeared in Spartacus: Vengeance and had a guest role in Castle . [5] He also contributed to the ABC self-help series Agony Uncles , which sees men sharing views about dating. [5] Tucker went on to appear in episodes of Rizzoli & Isles and NCIS , as well as Off The Map and the TV film, Criminal Behaviour.[ citation needed ] From 2013 until 2016, Tucker played Alyssa Milano's husband Harry Davis in US drama series Mistresses . [6] He made a guest appearance in drama series This Is Us in 2017. [7]

During 2018 and 2019, he played Battalion Chief Lucas Ripley on Station 19 for 17 episodes. [8] Tucker starred in the 2021 miniseries Lie With Me alongside Charlie Brooks. [9] That same year he had a large supporting role as boom operator Linus in dance dramedy The Big Leap . [10] In 2023, Tucker joined the cast of the Shondaland mystery-drama series The Residence as Australian Foreign Minister David Rylance. [11]

Personal life

Born one of three sons and one daughter on 21 May 1972 to Ken and Janice Tucker, [12] he grew up in the Yarra Valley of Victoria [1] with his three siblings – Nicky, Mark and David.

Libby was introduced along with her parents and brothers during a period of low ratings for the show. Samantha "Sam" Fitzgerald is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Simone Buchanan. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 21 March 2008. After departing on 25 June 2008, she made a brief return on 24 November 2008. Samantha's main storylines focused on her marriage to Daniel Fitzgerald, her bipolar disorder, which was triggered by a miscarriage prior to her introduction, and a pregnancy. In June 2010, executive producer Susan Bower announced that Buchanan had reprised her role and Samantha returned on 1 November 2010. She was the lead prosecutor in Stephanie Scully's culpable driving trial. The character departed on 24 November 2010. Buchanan reprised the role ten years later, and returned on 6 April 2020.

The Catch is an American comedy-drama television series that aired on ABC from March 24, 2016, to May 11, 2017. Station 19 is an American action-drama television series created by Stacy McKee that premiered on ABC on March 22, 2018. It is the second spin-off of Grey's Anatomy. Set in Seattle, the series focuses on the lives of the men and women at Seattle Fire Station 19. It stars Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Alberto Frezza, Jay Hayden, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre, Miguel Sandoval, Boris Kodjoe, Stefania Spampinato, Carlos Miranda, Josh Randall, Merle Dandridge, and Pat Healy.

David Clencie is an Australian actor. He made his debut aged 15 in the children's television series Sam's Luck. He was cast in the lead role of Sam Parkes, after impressing the producer while auditioning for the ABC network. He then appeared in police drama Cop Shop and the 1981 miniseries I Can Jump Puddles. The following year, Clencie joined the cast of The Sullivans as Steve Sullivan, a role which he considered to be his big break. He also had roles in Home, A Country Practice, and Starting Out. The Residence is an upcoming mystery-drama television series created by Paul William Davies for Netflix. Inspired by The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Kate Andersen Brower, the series revolves around a fictional murder scandal involving the staff of the White House. Produced by Shondaland, the series is set to launch globally on the streaming platform.

Nicholas Bufalo is an Australian actor and director, perhaps best known for his role as Dr. Ben Green in A Country Practice and for directing a number of episodes for the soap opera Neighbours. He starred in the short-lived sitcom Bingles and the 1993 feature film Gino. He is also a founding member of The D-Generation. His directing work includes episodes of Home and Away, City Homicide, and Packed to the Rafters. In 2008, Bufalo received an Australian Directors' Guild Award nomination.
