The Band Ice Cream is an American/Canadian garage rock band from San Francisco, California. [1]
The Band Ice Cream formed in San Francisco, California in 2015 as "Ice Cream" consisting of Kevin Fielding (Toronto), Joseph Sample (Grand Rapids), Dylan Murray and Raphael DiDonato. [4] Their first EP We're Set was recorded by Mike Carnahan and released on January 15, 2015. Songs "Wild" and "Surfer Girl" from the EP earned the band praise both locally in the Bay Area [5] [6] and nationally [7] [8] with The Deli Magazine listing We're Set in their 10 Best Bay Area Albums of 2015. [2] By the end of 2015 both DiDonato and Murray left the band and were replaced by Bryce Fernandez (O‘ahu) and Louis Rappoport on bass and drums.
In December 2016 the group signed to Urban Scandal Records as The Band Ice Cream, started working with producer Bruce Botnick and released their debut full-length album Classically Trained on March 10, 2017. [1] [9] Singles "Jerk It Off", "Sand Dunes" and "Mexico" premiered on Consequence of Sound, [1] PunkNews [3] and SF Weekly [10] respectively.
As recording began on this album, Rappoport left the group and was replaced by Dante Johnson. Recorded with Jack Shirley in East Palo Alto. "Numbskull" was released on August 17, 2018.

The band recorded an EP, We Are the One (1977), and after opening for the Sex Pistols worked with Steve Jones, but had not released an album before breaking up in 1979. After the breakup an EP with the Steve Jones-produced songs was released, and later an album, Avengers, in 1983. Their lead singer, Penelope Houston, is also a folk singer who has a solo career. The Divine Horsemen were an American punk/roots band founded in 1983 by Chris D. (Desjardins), formerly of L.A. punk rock band the Flesh Eaters. The band developed a distinctive alt country- type sound. They took their name from a voodoo term; a worshiper who is possessed by loa during a ceremony is said to be being ridden by "the divine horsemen". The term was also used as a song title by the Flesh Eaters

Ceremony is an American punk rock band from Rohnert Park, California. The band's current line-up features Ross Farrar (vocals), Anthony Anzaldo (guitar), Justin Davis (bass), Andy Nelson (guitar), and Jake Casarotti (drums). Ryan Mattos (guitar) left before the group's Matador Records signing in 2011, being replaced by Nelson. Finish Ticket is an American musical group from Alameda, California. The members are Brendan Hoye (vocals), Alex DiDonato (guitar), and Gabe Stein (drums). The band was a staple in the local San Francisco music scene, self-releasing two EPs and an album and playing at local venues and music festivals. They gathered national fame after signing to Elektra Records in 2014, releasing their debut EP with the label in 2015. They have toured both nationally in the United States and in Europe and have performed with artists such as The Black Keys, Twenty One Pilots, Fitz and the Tantrums, AWOLNATION, and Ed Sheeran.
