The seventh season of New Zealand reality television series The Block NZ , titled The Block NZ: On Point, premiered on 8 July 2018. [1] It is set in the Auckland suburb of Hobsonville Point. [2]
The judges are Kristina Rapley, editor of Your Home and Garden Magazine, and Jason Bonham, who has been the judge on two previous seasons. [3]

New Zealand Idol, also known as NZ Idol, was the New Zealand version of the Idol series which originated in the United Kingdom as Pop Idol. New Zealand first saw the Idol format when TV2 aired American Idol 2, which garnered impressive ratings. After Australian Idol also received good ratings in New Zealand, TVNZ decided to order the first season of NZ Idol, which was broadcast on TV2. After the third season in 2006, TVNZ made a decision not to fund or broadcast a fourth season, thus placing New Zealand Idol on indefinite hiatus, with no plans to run a fourth season.
The New Zealand Lotteries Commission, trading as Lotto New Zealand since 2013, is a Crown entity that operates nationwide lotteries in New Zealand. It was established in 1987 and operates under the Gambling Act 2003. Its oldest and most popular game is Lotto, which boasts a top prize pool of NZ$1 million. Other games include the four-draws-daily Keno, the daily Bullseye, and a variety of scratchcards and online games known as Instant Kiwi. Instant Kiwi may only be played by persons 18 years of age or older, under the Gambling Act 2003. Powerball and Lotto Strike are optional extras with every Lotto ticket. Powerball is a jackpotting game, with a maximum jackpot of $50 million - after which a Must Be Won draw must be called.
Sophie Frances Monique Devine is a New Zealand sportswoman, who has represented New Zealand in both cricket for the New Zealand national women's cricket team, and in field hockey as a member of the New Zealand women's national field hockey team. She has since focused on cricket. She is known for not wearing a helmet when batting, a rarity in 21st century cricket. In December 2017, she was named as one of the players in the ICC Women's T20I Team of the Year.
Hobsonville is a suburb in West Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand. The area was administered by Waitakere City Council until the council was amalgamated into Auckland Council in 2010.
Amy Ella Satterthwaite is a New Zealand former cricketer who played as an all-rounder, batting left-handed and bowling either right-arm medium or off break. She appeared in 145 One Day Internationals and 111 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand between 2007 and 2022. She played domestic cricket for Canterbury, Tasmania, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Lancashire Thunder, Lancashire and Manchester Originals.
New Zealand's Got Talent was a New Zealand reality television show which premiered in 2008. The show was based on the Got Talent series. The show featured singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other variety performers of all ages competing for a top prize of $100,000 cash and a Toyota RAV4 car. Three judges appear on the show each week to provide feedback for the contestants.

The series follows state-based teams of two who renovate each other's homes, with the team receiving the highest score winning an ultimate prize. The series is produced by the team who created the Seven reality show My Kitchen Rules.
New Zealand's Got Talent was a New Zealand reality television show, based on the original UK series, to find new talent. The third and final series began airing on TV One from 15 September 2013. Host Tāmati Coffey returned to the show, along with judges Jason Kerrison and Rachel Hunter and key sponsor Toyota New Zealand. Cris Judd also joined the judging panel, replacing Ali Campbell. The series screened at 7.30pm on Sunday evenings.
Hobsonville Point Secondary School is a state coeducational secondary school located in the Auckland, New Zealand suburb of Hobsonville. Opened in February 2014, it is the second school in New Zealand to be built under a public-private partnership, whereby the school buildings are constructed, maintained and managed separate from the school management by a private consortium. The school has a roll of 645 as of February 2024.

It was set on the boundaries of the Auckland suburbs of Sandringham and Three Kings. The prize money for achieving the most profit from the auction was raised to $100,000 for this series.
Survivor NZ was a New Zealand reality game show based on the international Survivor format. The series premiered on 7 May 2017 on the TVNZ 2, which also holds the broadcast rights to Australian Survivor. The show was renewed for a second season filmed in early 2018 and released on April 22.

The thirteenth season of Australian reality television series The Block premiered on 30 July 2017 on the Fifteen Network. Both hosts Scott Cam (host) and Shelley Craft returned from the previous season, as did the three judges: Neale Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer.

The eighth season of New Zealand reality television series The Block NZ, titled The Block NZ: Firehouse, premiered on 17 June 2019. It is set in the Auckland suburb of Kingsland, with the south side of the block overlooking the Outer Oval of Eden Park. The entire apartment complex was formerly a fire station that later turned into a boarding house. It is, overall, the most difficult and expensive renovation.
The ninth season of New Zealand reality television series The Block NZ premiered on 14 June 2021. It is set in the Auckland suburb of Point Chevalier.
The tenth and final season of New Zealand reality television series The Block NZ, titled The Block NZ: Redemption, premiered on 18 July 2022. It is set in the Auckland suburb of Orewa.
