The Volksraad of the South African Republic was the parliament of the former South African Republic (ZAR), it existed from 1840 to 1877, and from 1881 to 1902 in part of what is now South Africa. Ciske the Rat is a 1955 Dutch drama film directed by Wolfgang Staudte, based on the Ciske trilogy by Piet Bakker. The film was remade in 1984 and turned into a popular musical in 2007.
The Blauwe Theehuis is a 1930s Modernist pavilion in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. It is a ring-shaped building, somewhat reminiscent of a flying saucer. Originally a tea house, it is in use as a café and restaurant, surrounded by outside seating. The Blauwe Theehuis is also used for theatre performances, festivals, weddings, and other events. The building has rijksmonument status.

Zorgvlied is a cemetery on the Amsteldijk in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on the left bank of the river Amstel. The cemetery was opened in 1870 by the city of Amstelveen which still owns and operates it, though since 1896 it is located within the boundaries of the city of Amsterdam. One of the country's best-known cemeteries, it is notable for the large number of celebrities, especially from the literary and theater worlds, buried there.
Willem "Wim" de Vries Lentsch, Jr. was a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1948 Summer Olympics in Torbay. De Vries Lentsch Jr., as helmsman on the Dutch Swallow St. Margrite, took the 11th place with crew Flip Keegstra. In the 1952 Olympics De Vries Lentsch returned as helmsman of the Dutch 5.5 Metre De Ruyter, with crew members Flip Keegstra and Piet Jan van der Giessen. There he took the 13th place.
Pieter Jan "Piet Jan" van der Giessen was a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his native country as at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Piet Jan, as crew member on the Dutch 5.5 Metre De Ruyter, took the 13th place with helmsman Wim de Vries Lentsch and fellow crew member Flip Keegstra.
