The Bolts are an independent modern rock band from Irvine, California. Formed in 2007, the band consists of guitarist Heath Farmer, bassist Addam Farmer, keyboardist Austin Farmer, guitarist Ryan Kilpatrick, and drummer Matt Champagne. The entire frontline of the band sings lead vocals with multiple harmony.

The Bolts first experienced local success in 2007 when the band landed five demo songs on the local rock radio station, KROQ, after being together less than four months.[ failed verification ] [1] Soon after, the band started winning local battles of the bands and other competitions, eventually leading them to earn the title of Orange County’s ‘Best Pop Artist’ from the OC Music Awards.

In 2011, the band provided the soundtrack to an ad campaign for SoBe soft drinks, featuring Sports Illustrated cover supermodel, Kate Upton. [2]

The Bolts released their debut EP entitled ‘Fall’ in September 2012, followed by a full length album ‘Wait 'til We're Young, in February, 2013.[ dead link ] [3]

The Beacon Street Collection is the second studio album by American rock band No Doubt. It was released on March 25, 1995, by Beacon Street Records. Produced by the band and recorded in a homemade studio in the garage of their house on Beacon Avenue in Anaheim, California, from which the album takes its name, The Beacon Street Collection was released during a period when the band was receiving little attention from their label Interscope Records, and were not getting a chance to record a second album, as the label was disillusioned with them after the commercial failure of their 1992 eponymous debut. No Doubt had written large numbers of songs and knew that they would not make it onto any Interscope album, so they built their own studio and recorded the album there. Two singles were released: "Squeal" and "Doghouse".

Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime is a Rhode Island-based tribute band dedicated to playing the music of Sublime. The band should not be confused with the southern California-based band of the same name. The group is named after a song appearing on the album 40oz. to Freedom. Formed in 2001 at the University of Rhode Island, the group's members, who were computer science majors, began playing local Rhode Island clubs and quickly began selling out shows. They continued touring the East Coast and Midwest of the U.S., becoming popular on college campuses and among Sublime fans who never were able to see the band due to frontman Bradley Nowell's death in 1996. Since then the group has done multiple national tours per year. In 2008, the band was nominated for Best Tribute Act in the Boston Music Awards.

Kiev is an American indie rock band based out of Orange, California. It consists of members Andrew Stavas, Brandon Corn, Derek Poulsen, and Robert Brinkerhoff. They self-released their first EP titled Ain't No Scary Folks In On Around Here in 2010, which Los Angeles radio station KROQ characterized as "like having your ear work on a good puzzle". Culver Drive is a major arterial road in Irvine, Orange County, California, running approximately 9 miles (14 km) from southwest to northeast. Its southwest end is at its junction with Anteater Drive and Shady Canyon Drive, at the meeting point of the Turtle Rock, Turtle Ridge, and University Hills neighborhoods of Irvine. However, the road continues to the southwest under different names, Bonita Canyon Drive and then Ford Road, through a junction with California State Route 73 and into Newport Beach. At its northwest end, Culver Drive ends at its junction with Furrow in the Orchard Hills neighborhood of Irvine. Its length is split roughly into thirds by its junctions with Interstate 405 towards its southeast end and with Interstate 5 towards its northeast end. For much of its length it parallels California State Route 261, which runs to its northwest.

Crean Lutheran High School is a private Lutheran high school in Irvine, California. The school was founded in 2007 as Lutheran South High School and had its initial campus at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in the Woodbridge neighborhood of Irvine. In 2010, Crean Lutheran opened its own campus in southeastern Irvine near the Woodbury neighborhood. The school was renamed after John and Donna Crean, local philanthropists who donated US$10,000,000 to the school in its first year.
