The Clambakes Series Volume 2 is the second of three limited edition Live albums by Superchunk known as the Clambakes series. Released in 2002 The Clambakes Series Volume 2 (limited to 2,500 copies) is a film score that Superchunk was commissioned to write. It was recorded live at the Castro Theater in San Francisco, April 23, 2002 during the San Francisco International Film Festival at a showing of Teinosuke Kinugasa's 1926 film A Page of Madness .

Superchunk is an American indie rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States, consisting of singer-guitarist Mac McCaughan, guitarist Jim Wilbur, bassist Laura Ballance, and drummer Jon Wurster. Formed in 1989, they were one of the bands that helped define the Chapel Hill music scene of the 1990s. Their energetic, high-velocity style and do-it-yourself ethic are influenced by punk rock.

Norman Kerry was an American actor whose career in the motion picture industry spanned twenty-five years, beginning in 1916 and peaking during the silent era of the 1920s. <i>Working Holiday!</i> 1994 compilation album

Working Holiday! is a compilation album released on the Simple Machines label in 1994. It is a collection of tracks by American indie bands which were originally released on a series of 12 7" singles by Simple Machines as part of the Working Holiday monthly record club starting from December 1992. Each song was intended to commemorate a holiday in the month it was released. Subscribers to the record club were also sent a calendar showing the holidays, and a specially made 7" single carrying box.

Clambake is the sixteenth soundtrack album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3893, in October 1967. It is the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name starring Presley. He entered RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee on February 21, 1967 for Recording sessions for his twenty fifth film. Supplemental material sessions took place on September 10 and 11, 1967. It peaked at number 40 on the Billboard 200.

Cat's Cradle is a music venue and nightclub located in Carrboro, North Carolina, less than a mile from the University of North Carolina. It has two floors with a capacity of 750 people. In the early 1990s it attributed to the Chapel Hill region being called the "Next Seattle" by the press, given it hosted upcoming alternative and grunge acts such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Ween. In later years the venue also saw performances by John Mayer, Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth and Joan Baez. In August 2009, The Cosmopolitans played their reunion concert at Cat's Cradle following a 27-year hiatus.
