The Course of the Inevitable III: Pieces of My Pain is the sixth studio album by American rapper Lloyd Banks. It was released on April 21, 2023, through Money by Any Means. Production was handled by Haas Almahdi, George Getson, Cartune Beatz, Tha Jerm and V Don. It features guest appearances from 38 Spesh, Cormega, Dave East, Method Man, Tony Yayo and Vado.
On March 17, 2023, Banks announced the release of the album and confirmed that C O T I was a trilogy. He also released a trailer revealing the title The Course of the Inevitable III: Pieces of My Pain via Instagram. [4]
On March 24, 2023, Banks revealed the debut single of the album entitled "101 Razors" featuring Method Man. [5] On April 7, 2023, a music video for the single directed by Llama was released. [6]
On April 14, 2023, Banks announced that the album would be released on April 21, 2023. [7]

House of Pain was an American hip hop trio that released three albums in the 1990s. The group consisted of DJ Lethal, Danny Boy, and Everlast. They are best known for their 1992 hit single "Jump Around", which reached number 3 in their native United States of America, number 6 in Ireland and number 8 in the United Kingdom. The group broke up in 1996.

Born and raised in New York City, Ja Rule became known as a leading figure in 2000s hip hop for his blending of gangsta rap with commercially-oriented pop sensibilities. He began his career as a member of East Coast hip hop group G-Unit, which he formed with childhood friends 50 Cent and Tony Yayo in 1999. After the release of their debut album Beg for Mercy (2003), Banks released his debut solo album, The Hunger for More (2004) the following year. Met with critical and commercial success, it peaked atop the Billboard 200 and spawned the Billboard Hot 100-top ten single, "On Fire", as well as the top 20 single "Karma". His second album, Rotten Apple (2006) peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and saw mixed reviews. Banks then left Interscope Records and signed with EMI in 2010—along with his G-Unit cohorts—to release his third album, H.F.M. 2 in November that year, which saw a critical rebound and peaked at number 26 on the chart.
Daniel O'Connor, better known as Danny Boy or Danny Boy O'Connor, is an American rapper, art director, and the executive director of The Outsiders House Museum. O'Connor spent his childhood in New York, before moving to Los Angeles in the 1980s. In the 1990s, O'Connor co-founded the rap group House of Pain, with fellow rapper Erik Schrody (Everlast) and DJ Leor Dimant.
