The Deaf Heart is a 1958 British television play directed by Philip Saville. It was an episode of Armchair Theatre . [1]

Contents

It was Janet Munro's first British role after being signed by Walt Disney. She took sign language lessons. [2] The National Institute for the Deaf assisted with the production. [3]

The play, by American writer Mayo Simon, was filmed for American TV in 1957 directed by Sidney Lumet [4] and later adapted into a 1972 episode of Young Dr Kildare. [5]
