The Devil's Bris is the debut album by the dark cabaret/dark wave artist Voltaire. It was released in 1998 by Projekt Records. The album's title is derived from the figure of the devil and the Jewish circumcision ritual, the bris milah.
The tracks "Ex-Lover's Lover" and "When You're Evil" also appear on Voltaire's greatest hits album Deady Sings! Live versions of the tracks "Ex-Lover's Lover" and "When You're Evil" appear on Voltaire's live album Live!
"When You're Evil" is featured in the horror film 100 Tears , as well as in Deady, a minigame on ebilgames.com.

Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Dio left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice. The name Dio was chosen because it made sense from a commercial standpoint, as the name was already well known at that time.

Spooky Songs for Creepy Kids is a compilation album released in 2010 by Cuban American dark cabaret singer Voltaire. It is a collection of Voltaire's songs, ranging from 1998's The Devil's Bris to 2008's To the Bottom of the Sea, with lyrics slightly modified in order to be more child-friendly. It also features some songs that were adapted in order to suit better for the world of the MMORPG AdventureQuest Worlds, in which Voltaire usually participates. It furthermore features two songs on which Voltaire collaborated for The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

Raised by Bats is the tenth studio album by Cuban American dark cabaret singer Voltaire, released in 2014. The album's production was crowdfunded by Voltaire's fans all over the world via a successful Indiegogo campaign; it would reach US$53,793, surpassing its originally intended goal of US$10,000. The album is a major departure of Voltaire's musical style; instead of his usual dark cabaret style, Raised by Bats is more deathrock- and gothic rock-oriented. According to Voltaire in his official website:
In truth, it's a tour of all of the kinds of music I loved growing up. There are songs on this album that are goth rock, deathrock, new wave, New Romantic, dark wave and dark folk. It's the album I've always wanted to make. Some of the songs were written as far back as 1984, when I was 17 years old!
Sparks in a Dark Room is the second studio album by Dutch experimental electronic post-punk/ultra band Minny Pops. After signing to Factory Benelux in 1982 following their "noisy" and "goofy" debut album Different Measures, Drastic Movement (1979), the band settled into a new, less aggressive sound featuring influences of industrial music and funk. Recording Sparks in a Dark Room in late 1981, the band headed for a more clinical and clean sound. Considered a high point of the ultra movement, the record features cold, electronic tones and darkly humorous lyrics from lead singer and songwriter Wally van Middendorp.
