The Dirty Tricks are a Canadian rock band formed in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2003. [1]
(Not to be confused with "Dirty Tricks", a rock band that recorded for Polydor Records 1975–1977)
They toured with Malajube (Dare to Care Records), The Sainte Catherines (Fat Wreck Chords) and shared the stage with established bands such as NOFX, Against Me!, The (International) Noise Conspiracy and many more.
Their first single was the theme song of the skateboarding TV program called The Under Attack Show, aired on Musique Plus and Razer channel (now known as MTV2). Two other songs were used on Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race on ABC.
The Dirty Tricks have 4 albums out, won a MIMI award in 2008 and were nominated twice for a GAMIQ award. Considered as one of the best underground rock band coming out of Montreal.

The Salteens are a Canadian indie pop group based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The band released several albums of light pop music, toured in Canada and Australia; a number of their tracks were in rotation on CBC Radio.
Rick White is a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, he was a member of indie bands Eric's Trip, Elevator, Perplexus, and The Unintended. White first played music, in a band called "Bloodstain", in 1984, before starting his own band "in 1986", called "T.C.I.B", which later transitioned into the band name, "The Underdogs", which lasted from the summer of 1987, until June 1988. By the summer of 1989, The Underdogs had broken up, and Rick had joined another band, "The Forest", which lasted from the 1989, until June 1990, with a one-off recording session happening in December, 1990. Prior to Eric's Trip, and while in Eric's Trip, White also recorded two solo-produced albums, one in March 1990, and another in August 1991, but both were not released until 2022. Known for lo-fi recording, he has also recorded and produced music for The Sadies, Orange Glass, Joel Plaskett, One Hundred Dollars, Dog Day, HotKid and his former Eric's Trip bandmate Julie Doiron.
Sackville was a Canadian musical group based in Montreal that played what has been classified as country and pop, although their style resembles more folk, rock and avantgarde. They formed in 1994 and recorded their first album in 1996.
First Words was a Canadian hip hop group, consisting of Halifax beatmaker Jorun Bombay, DJ STV and emcees Above and Sean One. The group released two albums and an EP, as well as contributing tracks to several hiphop compilations, and was active from 2004 to 2008.

Music for the Hard of Thinking is the third studio album for Canadian pop music group Doug and the Slugs. It was released domestically in 1982 on Bennett's own record label Ritdong and internationally in 1983 by RCA Records. This recording helped get the band nominated for a 1983 Juno Award.
