The Ennis Sisters are a Canadian musical family group from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Ennis Sisters, Maureen, Karen and Teresa, started playing music at a young age, encouraged by their father John and their mother Ceilie. [1] The trio released their first album, Red is the Rose, on June 25, 1997. The album sold 15,000 copies within 18 months of release, and has gone on to sell more than 40,000 units. [2] By the end of the year, the album was named Best Folk Album by the Music Industry Association of Newfoundland & Labrador (MIA). [3] The following year, they received Female Artists of the Year and Group of the Year awards from the MIA. [4]
The Ennis Sisters released their second album, Christmas on Ennis Road, in 1998. The album also landed the girls their own Christmas special on CBC, An Ennis Road Christmas. [4] In 1999, Maclean's magazine named the trio one of the Top 100 young Canadians to watch. [5]
They returned to the studio to record their third album, Three, in 2000. The same year, they received an East Coast Music Association (ECMA) award for Album of the Year. [6] The album was also named Album of the Year by the MIA. [7] In the spring of 2000, the group signed with Natalie MacMaster's manager Andre Bourgeois. The group worked with Bourgeois from 2000 until late 2003. At the 2001 ECMA Awards in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, held on February 11, the girls were named Roots/Traditional Group of the Year. That same weekend, The Ennis Sisters received a two-album record deal from Warner Music Canada. [8] They began recording their major label debut with producer Tim Thorney at Great Big Music Studios.
The Ennis Sisters' fourth album, simply titled The Ennis Sisters, was released on October 9, 2001. The first single, "It's Not About You," reached the top 5 on Canadian Country Radio, and the top 10 on Canadian adult contemporary radio. [6] The video was played on both MuchMoreMusic and CMT in Canada. [9] In 2002, Maureen won the Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) award for top grossing Canadian Country Song of the Year for the album's second single, "I'd Never Walk Away." [6] That same year, the Ennis' won a Juno Award for Best New Country Artist/Group. [10] They were once again named Group of the Year at the 2002 ECMA Awards. [11]
In August 2002, they signed a distribution deal with Rounder Records to re-release their latest album in the United States. [12] The album, now titled It's Not About You, was released on April 15, 2003. Meanwhile, they released their fifth album in Canada, Can't Be the Same, on November 18, 2003. That 2003 release went on to win the 2004 ECMA Award for Best Roots/Traditional Group Recording. [13]
The Ennis Sisters released the album, Be Here for a While, in 2007. Youngest Ennis sister, Teresa Ennis, plans release of new recording, 'Space', [14] late in summer 2007. The project is not intended to be a departure from the group but a side project recorded during down time between work with the group.

John Thomas O'Sullivan is an American former professional football quarterback who played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL), two seasons in NFL Europe and one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the UC Davis Aggies, starting for three years and throwing for career totals of 10,745 yards and 96 touchdowns. He was named a first-team All-American in 2000 and a second-team All-American in 2001. He was inducted into the Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.

Triple J's One Night Stand is an annual music festival held in various regional Australian cities and towns that is promoted and organised by national youth radio station Triple J. The event ran for 15 years from its debut in 2004 until 2019, with one break in 2015 for Triple J's 30th anniversary Beat the Drum event. The COVID-19 pandemic prevented any large-scale music festivals in 2020 and 2021, yet the One Night Stand did not return once restrictions on major events were lifted. After a spate of cancellations of major Australian music festivals, the return of the festival was announced by Triple J on the 8th of April 2024. The One Night Stand will return on 14 September 2024, taking place in Warrnambool, Victoria.
Rhibosome were a three piece electronic outfit, which formed in Perth in 1998. They issued a self-titled album via Hydrofunk Records in May 2002. The group performed at various festivals in Australia before they disbanded in 2004.
Antoine "T. T." Toliver is a former arena football wide receiver. He played football and basketball at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. In 1995, he was named the Class 5A Player of the Year in football and was also runner-up for Florida's Mr. Football Award. In basketball, Toliver helped Mainland win the Class 6A state championship in 1995 and 1996. He played college football and basketball at Hinds Community College, where he was named the 1997–98 Junior College Player of the Year as a quarterback. He later transferred to Bethune-Cookman University, where he played basketball but not football.
The 2004 Canadian Professional Soccer League season was the seventh season for the Canadian Professional Soccer League. The season began on May 24, 2004 and concluded on October 11, 2004 with Toronto Croatia defeating Vaughan Shooters 4–0 to capture their second CPSL Championship. The championship was hosted for the first time at Victoria Park Stadium in Brampton, Ontario, which granted the Brampton Hitmen a wildcard berth. In the regular season the Toronto Supra clinched their first Eastern Conference title, while Hamilton Thunder secured their second Western Conference title. Though the league decreased in membership they managed to expand to the Windsor - Detroit territory with the addition of the Windsor Border Stars.

Gary Holland is an American hard rock and heavy metal drummer who worked in the 1980s with bands originating from California. He is perhaps best known for being the original drummer in Great White and for his brief stint in Dokken. He later played as a session musician and soundtrack contributor.
Year of No Light is a French post-metal band formed in Bordeaux in 2001. On their 2006 debut album Nord, the band combined a dark and aggressive sludge metal sound with psychedelic atmospheres inspired by post-rock and shoegazing. In 2008, they underwent a significant line-up change, replacing their vocalist by a third guitarist and a second drummer to become an instrumental sextet. Thereafter, Year of No Light integrated black metal, doom metal, drone and dark ambient influences on the albums Ausserwelt (2010) and Tocsin (2013).
Oxymoron is the third studio album by American rapper Schoolboy Q. It was released on February 25, 2014, through Top Dawg Entertainment and distributed by Interscope Records. Oxymoron was his first album released under a major record label to music retailers, whereas his previous albums were released independently to digital retailers only.
The Return of East Atlanta Santa is the tenth studio album by American rapper Gucci Mane. It was released on December 16, 2016, by GUWOP Enterprises, RBC Records and Atlantic Records. The record serves as Gucci Mane's third commercial release of the year, following his release from prison, after Everybody Looking (2016) and Woptober (2016). The album features guest appearances from rappers Drake and Travis Scott, alongside singer Bryson Tiller, while the production was handled by Metro Boomin, Southside, Bangladesh, Zaytoven, Mike Will Made It and Murda Beatz, among others.
Auryn Quest is a jump and run adventure game based on Michael Ende's novel The Neverending Story and his film adaptation of the same name. Originally developed by Discreet Monsters, "bad luck and mishaps" left the company bankrupt, and the game was eventually completed by Attraction. Initially an ambitious adventure game, bankruptcy forced the release to be reworked into a first-person action, 3D platformer jump game vaguely based on its source material. The first entry in a subsequently abandoned series, it became the sole game project for Discreet Monsters.
"Santo" (transl. "Saint") is a song recorded by American singer Christina Aguilera and Puerto Rican rapper and singer Ozuna for her ninth studio and second Spanish-language album, Aguilera (2022). It was written by Aguilera and Ozuna, alongside DallasK, Gale, and Josh Barrios, while the production was handled by DallasK, Rafa Arcaute, Federico Vindver, co-produced by Afo Verde, and its vocal production was handled by Jean Rodríguez. It was released by Sony Music Latin as the album's third single on January 20, 2022. It is the third consecutive and final single to be featured on the album's first part, La Fuerza.
