The Fantasy Effect is the debut studio album by American metalcore band, Reflections. The band released a single titled "Advance upon Me Brethren" on December 12, 2011, [1] which later appeared on the album as track six. They were unsigned at the time of release, but soon after releasing The Fantasy Effect, Reflections were signed to record labels eOne and Good Fight. [2] [3]
The album was home-produced and recorded by the band itself using Mixcraft 4; a Windows music recording and mixing program. [4] [ better source needed ]
A remastered/remixed edition of “The Fantasy Effect” on 28 April 2022 for the records 10th anniversary. Most of the production was done by current Vildhjarta drummer, Buster Odeholm, with additional support from vocalist Jake Wolf and Johan Liljeblad.

The Fantasy Effect was generally received as an exceptionally good album by several reviewers. The only unfavorable comments made with the album from critics were the production value and the quality of Jake's vocals.

Too Bad You're Beautiful is the debut studio album by Long Island-based post-hardcore band From Autumn to Ashes. The album is unique in that it features the dual vocals of Benjamin Perri and drummer Francis Mark. Perri provides the hardcore-esque shouts while Mark sings and occasionally contributes background screams. The album was reissued in 2005 with the Sin, Sorrow, and Sadness demo as bonus tracks at the end.

Sea of Treachery is an American metalcore/deathcore band from Hebron, Kentucky, United States, formed in 2004. Since forming, they have released three EPs and two full-length studio albums, the first being At Daggers Drawn, which was released on April 29, 2008 on Sumerian Records, and the second being Wonderland, released on December 14, 2010 on Blkheart Group. The digital version of Wonderland, featuring a bonus track, was released January 4, 2011. In early 2012, the band had reformed with the original line-up who were on the At Daggers Drawn record, played a reunion show in Newport, Kentucky, and have also announced more shows around the tri-state area.
