History

On the December 22, 2023 episode of SmackDown , Kross and Scarlett appeared in a vignette, stating that they have formed a new alliance, but without revealing the identities of their new associates. [1] On January 5, 2024 at SmackDown: New Year's Revolution, Kross, accompanied by Scarlett, attacked The Pride (Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits) alongside the Authors of Pain (AOP; Akam and Rezar) and Paul Ellering who officially made their return to WWE, confirming their alliance in the process. [2] At Night 2 of WrestleMania XL, the stable lost against The Pride in a Philadelphia Street Fight ending their feud. [3] On the following episode of NXT , The Final Testament made their NXT return with AOP attacking Axiom and Nathan Frazer, who have just won the NXT Tag Team Championships from Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker. [4] At Night 2 of the 2024 WWE Draft, The Final Testament were drafted to the Raw brand. [5] At Week 2 of Spring Breakin', AOP failed to defeat Axiom and Frazer for the titles after interference from New Catch Republic. [6]

After being drafted to Raw, The Final Testament, led by Kross, began to drive wedges into various teams across the brand; after successfully turning The New Day against one another (with Kross implying Kofi Kingston was holding Xavier Woods back from a successful singles career) [7] [8] and then doing the same with Awesome Truth (allying with The Miz in the process), [9] The Final Testament began to be targeted by The Wyatt Sicks. [10] On the December 9 episode of Raw, The Final Testament and The Miz defeated The Wyatt Sicks in a eight-man tag team match. [11]
