The Flying Fifty-Five is a 1924 British silent sports film directed by A. E. Coleby and starring Lionelle Howard, Frank Perfitt and Lionel d'Aragon. [1] It is based on a 1922 novel of the same name by Edgar Wallace, and was remade as a sound film in 1939.

Flying Fifty-Five is a 1939 British sports-drama film directed by Reginald Denham and starring Derrick De Marney, Nancy Burne, Marius Goring, John Warwick and Peter Gawthorne. It was made by Admiral Films at Welwyn Studios. The film is based on a 1922 novel of the same name by Edgar Wallace which had previously been made into a 1924 silent film The Flying Fifty-Five.

Frank James Robert Perfitt was a British film actor, born in Norwich, Norfolk in 1880. He died in Surrey in 1958.

Lionelle Howard was a British actor of the silent era who was born as Francis Nathan Coxin in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and died in Uxbridge, Middlesex. He appeared in a number of productions made by Astra Films in the years after the First World War.

Lionel d'Aragon was a British actor of the silent era. He was born in Paris, France and died in Camberwell, London.
