Dying Earth is a fantasy series by the American author Jack Vance, comprising four books originally published from 1950 to 1984. Some have been called picaresque. They vary from short story collections to a fix-up, perhaps all the way to novel.

The hundred stories, written from 1943 to 1980, were selected by the author himself. Bradbury's work had previously been collected in various compilations, such as The Martian Chronicles and The October Country, but never in such a large volume or spanning such a long period of time.
Conan the Barbarian is a collection of five fantasy short stories by American writer Robert E. Howard, featuring his sword and sorcery hero Conan the Barbarian, first published in hardcover by Gnome Press in 1955. The stories originally appeared in the 1930s in the fantasy magazine Weird Tales. This collection never saw publication in paperback; instead, its component stories were divided and distributed among other "Conan" collections. A later collection with the same title but different contents was issued in paperback by Del Rey/Ballantine Books in 2011.
Beyond the Gates of Dream is a collection of short stories by science fiction and fantasy author Lin Carter. It was first published in paperback by Belmont Books in August 1969 and reprinted by Belmont Tower in November 1972, with later editions from Leisure Books in April 1982 and Wildside Press in December 1999. The first British edition was issued in paperback by Five Star in 1973; a later British edition was issued as an ebook by Gateway/Orion in March 2020. The book has been translated into Dutch.
Michael Shayne Bell is an American science fiction writer, editor, and poet. He won the second quarter of the 1986 Writers of the Future contest with his story, "Jacob's Ladder". His short works have been nominated for the Hugo and the Nebula Awards. The Association for Mormon Letters awarded him for editorial excellence with his Washed by a Wave of Wind: Science Fiction from the Corridor anthology in 1994. Baen Books published Nicoji, a novel based on his short story of the same name, in 1991.
Twice 22 is a collection of short stories by American writer Ray Bradbury. The book, published in 1966, is an omnibus edition of The Golden Apples of the Sun and A Medicine for Melancholy. It is titled Twice 22 on the book's dustjacket and spine, but titled Twice Twenty-two on the book's title page.

Golden Wings and Other Stories is a collection of fantasy short stories by British writer William Morris, first published in trade paperback by the Newcastle Publishing Company in March 1976 as the eighth volume of the celebrated Newcastle Forgotten Fantasy Library. The first hardcover edition was published by Borgo Press in 1980. It collects all of Morris's short stories originally published in The Oxford and Cambridge Magazine, a student magazine that ran for the 12 months of 1856. They were later republished in various collections of Morris's work. More recently the stories have been combined with Morris's other contributions to the magazine, including reviews, essays and poems, to form the expanded collection The Hollow Land and Other Contributions to the Oxford and Cambridge Magazine, published by Forgotten Books in June, 2010
