The Glory Hole is the fourth and final studio album from Scottish band Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, originally released in 1995 and reissued in 1998.

Contents

The album was remastered and re-released in 2021 with three bonus tracks and amended tracklist.

All songs were recorded in 1985 for an intended album for Metal Blade Records, which had never been released. The Frogs is the debut album by The Frogs. It was originally released in limited quantities, and was re-released on CD by Moikai Records in 1999. The album was recorded on 8-Track at Pearl Studios in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and it took a long time to record because of the engineer's limited availability. After this album, The Frogs would release recordings made at home. This debut album gave listeners only a mere taste of the demented humor that was to follow on their second album. In 2022, an "addition" version was released onto streaming services.

<i>Ugly Beautiful</i> 1996 studio album by Babybird

Ugly Beautiful is a 1996 album by Babybird, the band's sixth, though their first for Echo Records. Released on 21 October, the album includes the singles "Goodnight", "Candy Girl", "You're Gorgeous" and "Cornershop". "You're Gorgeous" was a surprise top-three UK and international hit for the group. The album was written entirely by band-leader Stephen Jones. Many of the songs were written and recorded by Jones alone between 1988 and 1994. Several of the songs had been released in these demo incarnations on Jones' solo lo-fi work as Baby Bird that he did prior to forming the band with John Pedder, Robert Gregory, Luke Scott and Huw Chadbourn. The majority of the album was produced by Jones with Steve Power. Darren Allison and Ian Caple each produced a song.
