The Grimalkin is the second studio album by German progressive metal band Noekk, released on May 19, 2006. It was recorded and mixed at Studio E in September and October 2005 by Markus Stock. All the songs and lyrics are by Noekk.

A grimalkin is an archaic term for a cat. The term stems from "grey" plus "malkin", an archaic term with several meanings derived from a hypocoristic form of the female name Maud. Scottish legend makes reference to the grimalkin as a faery cat that dwells in the highlands.

Noekk is a German progressive doom metal band that is a collaboration of two then former Empyrium members. The origin of the band's name is supposed to come from a water creature that was able to transform into a beautiful white horse. When the proud stallion eventually got a human to mount it, it dashed into the dark waters and drowned the victim. According to the band, the Noekk demanded an annual human sacrifice, but this is not a part of the traditional folklore. Noekk has released three full-length albums on Prophecy Productions.
