Corey Scoffern (born May 20, 1975), [1] better known by his stage name The Grouch, is an American rapper and producer. He is currently based in Los Angeles and Maui, Hawaii, but was born and raised in Oakland, California. [2] He is a founding member of Living Legends, an independent rap group currently based in Los Angeles, California. [3]

The Grouch was born and raised in Oakland, California, where he attended Skyline High School. [4]

He produced the entirety of Felt's debut album, Felt: A Tribute to Christina Ricci , in 2002. [5]

He collaborated with Eligh, Evidence and Zion I on the song "Amp Live for President" in 2011. [6]
