The film stars Eleonora Fani, Jennifer Mischiati, Bruce Payne and Per Fredrik Åsly in the lead roles, and features guest appearances by Gérard Depardieu and William Shatner. The story is about how the destinies of mankind are being manipulated by a race of powerful extraterrestrials known as the Creators. The film was announced as the first part of a planned trilogy, with the next two installments being Creators: The Present and Creators: The Future. Principal photography began in 2014, but the film did not reach theaters before 2020. Its release in Italy eventually suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Roberto Saviano, a study of the business around the drug cocaine, covering its movement across continents. The series stars Andrea Riseborough, Dane DeHaan and Gabriel Byrne as the American Lynwood family, controlling an international shipping company which acts as cocaine broker between Mexican and Italian organized crime. The series derives its name from the whitest, finest-milled type of wheat flour (000), which is "the nickname among narcotraffickers for the purest cocaine on the market."

On 9 March 2020, the government of Italy under Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte imposed a national lockdown or quarantine, restricting the movement of the population except for necessity, work, and health circumstances, in response to the growing pandemic of COVID-19 in the country. Additional lockdown restrictions mandated the temporary closure of non-essential shops and businesses. This followed a restriction announced on the previous day which affected sixteen million people in the whole region of Lombardy and in fourteen largely-neighbouring provinces in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont and Marche, and prior to that a smaller-scale lockdown of ten municipalities in the province of Lodi and one in the province of Padua that had begun in late February.

Made in London is the third studio album by Italian singer Noemi, released on 20 February 2014. The album was launched during the 64th Sanremo Music Festival. Noemi performed the songs "Un uomo è un albero" and "Bagnati dal sole", competing in the Big Artists section. During the second night of the show, a combination of televotes and journalists preferences among her entries determined "Bagnati del sole" as her song for the remaining part of the competition. "Bagnati dal sole" placed fifth in the final. Both songs were included in the album, and "Bagnati dal sole" was released as a single on 20 February 2014. "Don't Get Me Wrong", co-written by Dimitri Tikovoï, was released as the album's second single on 2 May 2014. Made in London's third and final single was "Se tu fossi qui", also included in the soundtrack of the film Ambo.
