The Hunt for Kimathi is a 1958 book by Ian Henderson and Philip Goodhart about the pursuit and capture of Dedan Kimathi, leader of the Mau Mau during the Mau Mau Uprising in Kenya. [1] [2]

The book was also known as Man Hunt in Kenya.

The book was controversial due to its depiction of Kimathi. [3] The Sydney Morning Herald called it a "remarkable book". [4]

Proposed film adaptation

For a number of years plans were announced to film the book. [5] But no film resulted.
