The Inevitable Backlash is a rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The band released their debut in March 2007. The Inevitable Backlash's lineup has changed frequently, with only singer John Renton, a former member of Abby's Gone remaining from the original incarnation. Past and current members have included Jason Mackenroth on drums, Matt E. Grossman on drums/percussion. Chris Stein, currently a member of Saccharine Trust on bass, Laena Myers Lonita of Residual Echoes and Starlight Desperation on bass.

The band released its first record in March 2007, the Sex for Safety . The group's style was compared to bands such as The Replacements and None More Black. It was recorded by Frances Miranda at Wetandry Studios on analog tape with zero overdubs. It was a critical success with Punk Planet magazine hailing it as "Rock and Roll enveloped with lyrical themes of the industry's most assured seller –sex" and the Providence Daily Dose and 75 or Less calling it "One of the ten best records of 2007".

After the release of Sex for Safety, the band embarked on the Sex for Safety Tour with members John Renton, Matt E. Grossman, and Laena Myers Lonita. It was chronicled in the tour for life tumblr blog on the band's official website.

In July 2010, one of the members of The Inevitable Backlash appeared on the Adam Carolla podcast in a segment called "Who the F*** Sells this S***?" in which Carolla speaks to someone selling random items on Craigslist. The member of the band was selling 86 beers for the best offer.

Matt Finish are an Australian rock band formed in mid-1979 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt Moffitt (1956–2003) and drummer, composer and producer John Prior. The 1981 line-up of Moffitt, Prior, Richard Grossman on bass guitar and Jeff Clayton on rhythm guitar recorded their debut album, Short Note, which peaked at No. 14 on the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart. The title song, "Short Note", peaked at No. 33 on the related Singles Chart and became a standard on Australian radio stations. Grossman was later a member of Divinyls and Hoodoo Gurus. On 13 August 2003 Moffit died in his sleep, aged 46. From 2006 Prior has continued Matt Finish with various line-ups.

Recorded in 1997 at Sawmills Studios with producer Paul Reeve, it was released on 11 May 1998 by Dangerous Records, limited to 999 hand-numbered copies. Richard Grossman is an Australian rock musician who has played bass guitar for two iconic bands: Divinyls and Hoodoo Gurus. Hoodoo Gurus' status on the Australian rock scene was acknowledged when they were inducted into the 2007 ARIA Hall of Fame. For Grossman, this was his second Hall of Fame induction in a row; the 2006 award was for his stint with Divinyls. Often referred to as Rick Grossman, he has also performed with other Australian bands: Matt Finish, Ghostwriters, Persian Rugs, The Kelly Gang and Men at Work.

Illinois is an American indie rock band from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, fronted by Chris Archibald. The Anaesthete is the fourth full-length album by post-metal band Rosetta, and their first fully independent release. The album was announced on Rosetta's blog on June 20, 2013 and self-released as a download via Bandcamp on August 8, 2013 using the Pay what you want pricing system. CD and LP releases were issued by Debemur Morti in Europe and War Crime Recordings in North America. Pelagic Records reissued the album on both formats in 2018.

KLOQ is an electronic rock band that was formed in Chelmsford, Essex in 2005 by Oz Morsley of Empirion. The current lineup is Dean Goodwin (Vocals), Oz Morsley, Tim Jackson (Bass), and Chris Jacobs (Drums). Kloq has released two studio albums: Move Forward (2008) and Begin Again (2013).
