Kite is the breakthrough second album by Kirsty MacColl, released in 1989. Produced by her then-husband Steve Lillywhite, it was her first album for Virgin Records. The album included MacColl's hit cover of The Kinks' "Days", as well as two tracks written with Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. Shine is the fourth studio album by Swedish singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and her second international solo album as Frida. It was first released in September 1984 and has since been re-released several times, mainly in the digitally remastered form in 2005 with bonus tracks. Shine, alongside the accompanying promotional videos and clips, is included in Frida – 4xCD 1xDVD. This album has never been officially released in the United States, but was issued in Canada by WEA. This is Lyngstad's last English language studio album to date.

"Unchained Melody" was released on a single as a B-side track with "Put a Little Holiday in Your Heart" at Target stores during the 1996 Christmas season alongside Rimes' debut album. The album contains cover versions of "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" by Patsy Montana, "Blue Moon of Kentucky" by Bill Monroe, "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton, "Yesterday" by The Beatles. The album has been certified 2× Platinum for shipments of two million copies in the United States.
I Need You is the third compilation album from American recording artist LeAnn Rimes. The album was first released on January 30, 2001, through Curb Records to help satisfy Rimes' recording contract obligations during litigation with the label and her management. Rimes publicly disowned the album just days after its release, causing it to be discontinued. The album was then officially released by Rimes on March 26, 2002, with four additional tracks and a new recording: "Light the Fire Within". In 2008, the album was released as a package with Rimes' debut album, Blue (1996).

The album comprises patriotic and inspirational songs that were originally recorded on her You Light Up My Life: Inspirational Songs album, as well as songs from her commercial album, All That, under the independent label, Nor Va Jak, although "Why Can't We" and "Middle Man" are both re-recordings. "Put a Little Holiday in Your Heart" was originally released as a bonus single, with the song "Unchained Melody", alongside Blue at Target during the 1996 Christmas season. The only two new songs that were released on the album were "The Lord's Prayer" and "The Sands of Time". The album was released as a patriotic tribute to the events of September 11, 2001, with the liner stating "These classic recordings were made while America was first discovering LeAnn Rimes."
This Woman is the seventh studio album by LeAnn Rimes released on January 25, 2005. While promoting This Woman, she stated that it was her return to her "roots", country music. In essence, the album has a strong theme of love, falling in love and marriage. This could be due to LeAnn's own marriage to her back up dancer Dean Sheremet. The album was a success on the country charts. Like Twisted Angel, Rimes helped pen tracks on the album.
Titanic Days is Kirsty MacColl's fourth studio album, released in 1993. Containing eleven tracks, Titanic Days was sometimes hard to get in years after its release, but it was remastered and re-released in 2005 by ZTT with a second CD of non-album tracks and some live recordings, including a version of "Miss Otis Regrets". In 2012, another remastered re-issue of the album was released by Salvo/ZTT, which again featured a second disc of bonus tracks.

It was first released in the United Kingdom and Australia on April 15, 2013 by Curb Records via digital download and a CD release followed in the United Kingdom on April 22, 2013, while in Australia and Germany the CD was released on April 26, 2013. In the United States and Canada, the album was released exclusively to Walmart stores on June 4, 2013. It is the final album released by Rimes under her contract with Curb Records.
