The Kinison is a rock band formed in Oblong, Illinois, in 1999. The band is named after American comedian Sam Kinison. [1]
In late January 2002, the band headed to California in search of a new bass player and drummer. Initially, they hired bass player Tim Milhouse and drummer Mikey Rivera, both friends of their then manager Bill Fold. When Tim Milhouse left the band, they recruited bassist Frank Figueroa from a band called 401 Waterman. Frank played bass on the band's debut EP, Mortgage is Bank. Soon after recording, Frank quit The Kinison to find work as a registered nurse. The trio soon recruited Mike V and Mikey to complete the band.[ when? ][ citation needed ]
After 9 months of playing tiny shows in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area, they landed a spot on the indie rock festival This Ain't No Picnic. The band recorded an EP Mortgage Is Bank in September 2002 for Fearless Records. In 2003 The Kinison played at Coachella, a two-day music festival in Indio, California. [2] In late 2004, they were one of the support acts for Blink-182 on their DollaBill Tour. [3]
After months of touring, the band signed a record deal with Travis Barker's LaSalle Records; the full-length album, What Are You Listening To? was LaSalle's debut record. [4] It was recorded in 15 days [5] and produced by Pelle Hendricsson and Eskil Lovestrom (Refused, Poison The Well, Hell is for Heroes). [1]
The Kinison broke up in 2005, [6] but reformed in 2013, releasing an EP entitled Oh, the Guilt. [7]

Cowboy Mouth is an American band based in New Orleans, Louisiana known for fusing alternative rock with album-oriented rock, roots rock, and jam band influences. Formed in 1992, the band saw early mainstream success in the 1990s, including the hit single "Jenny Says". After disappointing album sales in 2000, they were dropped by their label, but the band has succeeded since then by focusing on live performances and independent-label releases. In 2011, the band was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
Rozz Williams was an American singer and songwriter known for his work with the bands Christian Death, Shadow Project, and the industrial project Premature Ejaculation. Christian Death is cited by some as a pioneer of the American gothic rock scene as well as deathrock, and is considered to be one of the most influential figures of the scene. However, Williams disliked the "goth" label and actively worked to shed it during the 1980s and 1990s by focusing on punk rock, hard rock, cabaret, and spoken word music. Williams was also involved with his groups Daucus Karota, Heltir, EXP, Bloodflag, and his own version of Christian Death, along with recording a handful of solo albums. In addition to music, Williams was also an avid painter, poet, and collage artist.
Scream is an American hardcore punk band from Washington, D.C.; they originally formed in the suburb of Bailey's Crossroads, Virginia. Scream originally formed in 1981 within the vanguard of the Washington Hardcore explosion. In 2009, the band reunited, and as of January 2012 were on tour in Europe. As of 2017, the band was still touring in both America and the United Kingdom.
Travis Landon Barker is an American musician who serves as the drummer for the rock band Blink-182. He has collaborated with hip hop artists, is a member of the rap rock group Transplants, co-founded the rock band +44, and has also joined Box Car Racer, Antemasque and Goldfinger. Barker was a frequent collaborator with the late DJ AM, with whom he formed the duo TRV$DJAM. Due to his fame, Rolling Stone referred to him as "punk's first superstar drummer", as well as one of the 100 greatest drummers of all time.
Michael James Way is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the bassist of the rock band My Chemical Romance. He also serves as the multi-instrumentalist and backing vocalist of rock duo Electric Century. Way co-wrote Collapser with Shaun Simon; it was released in July 2019 on DC Comics.

The band's style blends elements of post-punk, alternative, shoegaze, synth pop and indie rock and they have released five albums and a handful of EPs and singles as well as toured extensively across both North America and Europe.
Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Formed in 2005, the band was a result of a merger between two local Tallahassee bands, Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends, was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. Having been signed to Fearless Records since 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Mayday Parade's fourth album, titled Monsters in the Closet, was released in October 2013. Their fifth album, titled Black Lines, was released October 2015. In April 2018, the band signed to Rise Records and released their sixth studio album Sunnyland on June 15, 2018. Their seventh studio album, What It Means to Fall Apart, was released on November 19, 2021.
Damien Done is an American post-punk/gothic rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Formed in Gainesville, Florida in 2002 as a semi-eponymously-named solo project by frontman Damien Moyal, the group has since been expanded to include other band members and co-songwriters. The current lineup features Moyal, Laura Jane Leonard and Tyler Kane.
Neon Nights Electric Lives is the first proper full-length release from Vermont's The Static Age. Though The Cost of Living recordings predated it, those are considered the band's demos. A limited version of Neon Nights Electric Lives was released on October 19, 2004 and sold only on tours, but a full release came on March 23, 2005, via Tarantulas Records. The extended album also includes remixes from Jade Puget of AFI and Dave Walsh of The Explosion/The Loved Ones, and a vinyl reissue of the album was released in March 2014 on Highwires.
Neon Highwire were an English electronic music group formed in London, England in 2008. The band consisted of Steven Morgan, James Dippie, and Luke Fussell. All three members of the band sang, played guitar, played synths and were producers in their own right, yet none played the drums. They described their music as "surrealist geek electro". James Dippie also releases remixes under the name Novelty Music Scene whilst Luke Fussell also releases under the moniker Hail! Perestroika. They are renowned for energetic live shows and are known to often lie in interviews.
