The LaLiT Hotels, Palaces and Resorts is a group of 12 hotels, palaces and resorts spread across the country and outside. [1] The group is managed by the Suri Family. Jyotsna Suri is the Managing Director and Chairman, who [2] took over the hotels after the death of her husband, Lalit Suri. [3] The group of hotels was valued at INR 645 crores. Facilities provided may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a flat screen television, and en-suite bathrooms. Larger, higher-priced hotels may provide additional guest facilities such as a swimming pool, business centre, childcare, conference and event facilities, tennis or basketball courts, gymnasium, restaurants, day spa, and social function services. Hotel rooms are usually numbered to allow guests to identify their room. Some boutique, high-end hotels have custom decorated rooms. Some hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. In the United Kingdom, a hotel is required by law to serve food and drinks to all guests within certain stated hours. In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.

Bharatmala Indian project

Bharatmala Pariyojana is a centrally-sponsored and funded road and highways project of the Government of India. The total investment for 83,677 km (51,994 mi) committed new highways is estimated at 5.35 lakh crore (US$74 billion), making it the single largest outlay for a government road construction scheme. The project will build highways from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and then cover the entire string of Himalayan states - Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand - and then portions of borders of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar alongside Terai, and move to West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and right up to the Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur and Mizoram. Special emphasis will be given on providing connectivity to far-flung border and rural areas including the tribal and backward areas. Bharatmala will connect 550 district headquarters to minimum 4-lane highway by raising the number of corridors to 50 and move 80% freight traffic to national highways by connecting 24 logistics parks, 66 inter-corridors (IC) of total 8,000 km (5,000 mi), 116 feeder routes (FR) of total 7,500 km (4,700 mi) and 7 north east multimodal waterway ports.

Tejas Express

The Tejas Express is India’s first semi-high speed fully air-conditioned train Introduced by Indian Railways. It features modern onboard facilities with automatic doors. Tejas means "sharp", "lustre" and "brilliance" in many Indian languages. These trains are among the fastest trains in India along with Rajdhani Express, Gatimaan Express, Shatabdi Express, Vande Bharat Express and Duronto Express and get the highest priority on the Indian railway network.

Keshav Suri is an Indian hotelier and an LGBTQ rights advocate. He is the chairman of The Lalit Group of Hotels. Keshav was one of the petitioners for the 6-September-2019 Supreme Court Judgement on Section 377 and is married to his partner Cyril Feuillebois, who has been with Keshav for 10 years. While managing the hotel and business, Keshav actively supports the advancement of LGBTQ rights in India.
