The Last One is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language horror fantasy film featuring Simran in the lead role. The film is directed by Lokesh Kumar and produced by Deepak Bagga under the banner Four Dee Motion Pictures. [1] [2]
The Last One aims to merge the chilling atmosphere of horror with the enchanting elements of fantasy. The story unfolds in a world where magic exists alongside dark forces, creating a unique narrative that balances both jump scares and fantastical events. [3]
The concept for The Last One originated when producer Deepak Bagga, along with actress Simran, pitched a one-line horror idea to director Lokesh Kumar. Although Lokesh initially approached them with a different script, he was immediately drawn to the horror concept they proposed. This pivotal moment led to the development of the horror-fantasy film, with Simran taking on the lead role and Deepak Bagga playing a crucial role as the producer. [3]
On 7th September 2024, the makers released the title look of the film along with the first poster. Simran shared the poster on her social media, expressing excitement about her husband, Deepak Bagga, turning producer with this project. [2] [4] [5]
