The Lucky Ones is the only full-length album from the Canadian rock band Pride Tiger. [1] The music is 1970s-style rock with strong melodies and dual guitar harmonies. [2]
It was nominated for a 2008 Juno Award in the Rock Album of the Year category.
Charley Frank Pride was an American singer, guitarist, and professional baseball player. His greatest musical success came in the early to mid-1970s, when he was the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. During the peak years of his recording career (1966–1987), he had 52 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 30 of which made it to number one. He won the Entertainer of the Year award at the Country Music Association Awards in 1971.

Survivor is an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1978 by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan. The band achieved its best success in the 1980s, producing many charting singles, especially in the United States. The band is best-known for their double-platinum-certified 1982 hit "Eye of the Tiger", the theme song for the 1982 motion picture Rocky III; that single spent six weeks at number one in the US. The band continued to chart in the mid-1980s with singles like "Burning Heart", "The Search Is Over", "High on You", "Is This Love", and "I Can't Hold Back".
"Eye of the Tiger" is a song by American rock band Survivor. It was released as a single from their third album of the same name and was also the theme song for the 1982 film Rocky III, which was released a day before the single. The song was written by Survivor guitarist Frankie Sullivan and keyboardist Jim Peterik, and it was recorded at the request of Rocky III star, writer, and director Sylvester Stallone, after Queen denied him permission to use "Another One Bites the Dust", the song Stallone intended as the Rocky III theme. The version of the song that appears in the film is the demo version of the song. The film version also contained tiger growls, which did not appear on the album version. It features original Survivor singer Dave Bickler on lead vocals. The song is also the title song to the 1986 film of the same name. "Eye of the Tiger" is written in the key of C minor.
Musafir (transl. Traveller) is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action thriller film written, directed and produced by Sanjay Gupta starring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi, Sameera Reddy and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles and introducing Koena Mitra. The film was controversial because of some sensual scenes, including kissing, between Kapoor and Reddy. At the box office the film opened to almost near houseful collections of 80%–100% all over India but witnessed a steep fall by the end of its first week of release. It was the sixth highest grossing Hindi film of the year. The film is a remake of the 1997 Hollywood film U Turn.
James LoMenzo is an American heavy metal musician. He was a member of the band White Lion, performing with them from 1984 to 1991. He was later the bassist for Black Label Society, Slash's Snakepit, and Megadeth. He was announced as Megadeth's touring bassist in August 2021 and in June 2022 he fully returned to the band. Outside music, he is known for being a contestant on the 21st season of the reality television series The Amazing Race.

Written by Greg Lake when he was 12 years old and recorded by the trio using improvised arrangements, the song contains one of rock music's earliest instances of a Moog synthesizer solo. "Lucky Man" was released as a single in 1970 and reached the top 20 in the Netherlands. The song also charted in the United States and Canada. The single was re-released in 1973 and charted again in the U.S. and Canada.

Despite impacting adult album alternative and modern rock American radio stations on 7 and 8 March 2022, respectively, Chris Martin noted during an interview the band would not be promoting "People of the Pride" as an official single.
