Antimony "Annie" Carver is the main protagonist of Tom Siddell's 2005 webcomic Gunnerkrigg Court. She was the first character created for Gunnerkrigg Court and her design has evolved alongside the webcomic's artstyle. Characterized as quiet, shy and precocious, as well as lonely and subtly rebellious, Antimony has been praised for her complexity.
Black Panther: World of Wakanda is a comic book series and a spin-off from the Marvel Comics Black Panther title. It published six issues before being canceled. The series was primarily written by Roxane Gay, with poet Yona Harvey contributing a story to the first issue. Alitha E. Martinez drew the majority of the art for the series, for which Afua Richardson contributed cover art to the first five issues, as well as art for a short story in the first issue. Gay and Harvey became the first two black women to author a series for Marvel; counting Martinez and Richardson, upon its debut the series itself was helmed entirely by black women. Ta-Nehisi Coates served as a consultant for the series.
Witchy is a fantasy webcomic by Ariel Slamet Ries that started in 2014. The webcomic follows the young witch Nyneve in a world where magical proficiency is based on the length of one's hair. Though the world of Witchy is culturally and ethnically diverse, its characters are marginalized based on their hair length. Ries uploads one page of the webcomic per week as she is studying animation. Witchy was nominated for an Ignatz award in 2015.
Evan Dahm is an American webcartoonist from Asheville, North Carolina known for creating the Overside universe of webcomics. Dahm has also published a number of print-only graphic novels.
Molly Knox Ostertag is an American cartoonist and writer. Her work includes the animated series The Owl House, webcomic Strong Female Protagonist, the middle grade graphic novel series, and on the series Tales of the Night Watchman. She was named one of Forbes magazine's 30 Under 30 in 2021.

On a Sunbeam is a science fiction webcomic, by American cartoonist Tillie Walden. It was later released as a graphic novel. Set in a spacefaring science fiction world, the plot follows the development of the protagonist Mia, who joins the crew of the maintenance ship Aktis and attempts to reconnect with a lost love. It was nominated for the 2017 Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic and the graphic novel won the 2018 Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
Monster Pulse is an all-ages fantasy webcomic written and illustrated by Magnolia Porter. The comic began in 2011 and completed on 4 June 2021.
Agents of the Realm is a webcomic by Mildred Louis. Started in 2014, it follows the adventures of five women new to university who become magical girls and must protect this world and as well as another dimension. Agents of the Realm was shortlisted for a Cartoonist Studio Prize in the category "Best Web Comic" of 2017.
Dragon Age: Deception is a three-issue heroic fantasy comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics and released between January and March 2020. The series was co-written by Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir, with artwork by Fernando Heinz Furukawa. The series takes place after the events of the 2017 miniseries Dragon Age: Knight Errant and features appearances from its protagonists, Ser Aaron Hawthorne and Vaea, as well as Dorian Pavus, a major character from Dragon Age: Inquisition. Deception follows a con artist named Olivia Pryde, who crosses paths with another con artist in the Tevinter city of Ventus, which is on the brink of war.
Hooky is a fantasy adventure webcomic written and illustrated by Catalan author Míriam Bonastre Tur. Originally serialized as a webtoon on Naver Corporation's Webtoon app from 2015 to 2020, Hooky was eventually released in print by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2021.
Heartstopper is an ongoing LGBTQ+ young adult graphic novel and webcomic series written and illustrated by British author Alice Oseman. It follows the lives of Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring as they meet and fall in love. The series is a prequel to Oseman's 2015 novella, Nick and Charlie, although the characters originally appeared in her 2014 novel, Solitaire.
