The Morning Of is an American pop/indie/rock band originating from Newburgh, New York, United States. [1] The band's first EP, Welcome Change. Goodbye Gravity, held a steady spot in the Top 50 best selling albums on Smartpunk.com for six months. [2] In August 2006, they appeared at Dirt Fest. [3] Their first full length effort, The World as We Know It debuted on the U.S. Billboard heatseekers chart at No. 18 [4] and peaked at the No. 25 pop album on iTunes. They recorded their most recent album, "The Way I Fell In", [5] with producer Jim Wirt (No Doubt, Jacks Mannequin, Incubus, Hoobastank, The Rocket Summer). The album was released on May 11, 2010 and debuted No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard heatseekers chart. [4]

Knipp left in December 2003 but remained friends with the band, subbing in on drums when needed, and rejoined in 2011. Espaillat left in 2006 to pursue other musical ventures. Bass guitarist Juan Chavolla joined in 2008, and after playing for several years without a keyboardist, multi-instrumentalist Brian Smith, a long-time friend of Werthner's, joined in 2012.

Dinosaurs! in 2006, having previously released the EP Hellogoodbye in 2004, and DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL in 2005. In 2010, the band released Would It Kill You? on their label Wasted Summer Records. Michael Lombardo (bass/vocals) joined in 2005, Walker Adams (drums/vocals) joined in 2011 and John Luzzi (guitar/vocals) joined in 2012.
