The Notorious IBE is an international hip hop dance festival in Heerlen, The Netherlands. Between 1998 and 2005 the festival took place at Nighttown in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In 2008 the festival moved to the city of Heerlen in the southern province of Limburg (Netherlands).
Limburg is the southernmost of the twelve provinces of the Netherlands. It is bordered by Gelderland to the north and by North Brabant to its west. Bospop is an annual rock festival in Weert, Netherlands. It started off in 1981 as an initiative by the local youth, as an event for local amateur bands. Within a few years, it was able to book renowned Dutch bands like Fatal Flowers, Herman Brood & His Wild Romance and Golden Earring. With the help of Mojo Concerts, it upscaled in the 90s and started to book international artists like John Hiatt and Marillion.

RaboRonde Heerlen or Profronde van Heerlen is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in Heerlen, Netherlands. It's one of the largest post-Tour de France criteriums with about 50,000 spectators annually. The first edition was in 1990 and since 2013 the event also includes a women's race.
