The Ojai Apartments is an historic Mediterranean Revival apartment building at 1929 N. Whitley Ave., at the intersection of Whitley with Padre Terrace, in Hollywood, California.
The Ojai Apartments were designed by Frank H. Webster, architect of the historic landmark Villa Bonita, [1] and built by the Cooper Construction Company in 1928. [2] It features five stories facing Padre Terrace and four stories facing its northern end at Emmet Terrace. [3] It has terracotta roof tiles and a rooftop neon sign. [3] The complex was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in May 2006. [2] In 2017, the Ojai was used as the residence of the fictional Tommy Wiseau in James Franco's The Disaster Artist . [4] The use of the building is thought to be a double entendre on Tommy Wiseau's infamous The Room character's habit of greeting other characters with a perfunctory "Oh, hi."

The stage play from which the film is derived was so named due to its events taking place entirely in a single room.

The Matilija Wilderness is a 29,207-acre (11,820 ha) wilderness area in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, Southern California. Sepulveda Rose is a mid-century modern apartment complex in Los Angeles, California, located in the Palms neighborhood on South Sepulveda Boulevard. Designed by Richard Lee Dorman, the two-story complex contains 11 D-shaped buildings surrounding three courtyards, each with a pool. The complex is an excellent example of a mid-century modern garden apartment and features courtyard-facing doorways recessed among post-and-beam framing. Horizontal Redwood lath frames the building along Sepulveda Boulevard adding protection from the harsh glare and a more visually interesting view from the street. The complex is bounded the Sepulveda Channel to the north and Sepulveda Boulevard to the west.
