InMe are an English rock band from Brentwood, Essex, formed in 1996.
A number of heavy metal genres have developed since the emergence of heavy metal during the late 1960s and early 1970s. At times heavy metal genres may overlap or are difficult to distinguish, but they can be identified by a number of traits. They may differ in terms of: instrumentation, tempo, song structure, vocal style, lyrics, guitar playing style, drumming style, and so on.
Hammered is the sixteenth studio album by the band Motörhead, released 9 April 2002, on Steamhammer, their sixth with the label and beating the Bronze Records era total of original full-length album releases. It was also the beginning of distribution in North America, and other territories, under Sanctuary Records and their subsidiary Metal-Is.
"A Tout le Monde" is a song by American heavy metal band Megadeth, featured on their 1994 studio album Youthanasia. It was released as a single in February 1995 through Capitol Records. The song was later remade and reissued as "À Tout le Monde ", featuring Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil, on Megadeth's 2007 studio album United Abominations. The song's chorus, "à tout le monde, à tous mes amis, je vous aime, je dois partir", translated into English is, "to the whole world, to all my friends, I love you, I have to leave", which prompted controversy after accusations that it was pro-suicide.
Gorerotted were an English death metal band formed in 1997 which split up in January 2008 and reformed with new members as The Rotted. Gorerotted's lyrics and song titles were largely inspired by horror films and serial killers. The band's song titles often incorporated humorous rhymes or puns such as "Cut, Gut, Beaten, Eaten", "Put Your Bits in a Concrete Mix", and "Only Tools and Corpses", a pun on the popular British sitcom, Only Fools and Horses, the latter beginning with a similar introductory drumbeat to the sitcom's theme music.
"Lead Me On" is a 1988 single by Christian music singer Amy Grant. It was released as the second single from the Lead Me On album.
"Swing Life Away" is a song by American rock band Rise Against. It is an acoustic ballad, with a sharp guitar sound and optimistic lyrics about daily life and the working class. The song was first included in the 2003 compilation album Punk Goes Acoustic, and was later expanded upon in the band's 2004 album Siren Song of the Counter Culture.
Dave McPherson is an English singer, songwriter, guitarist and sometimes rapper from Harold Wood, London. He is best known as the frontman of the British rock band InMe. He is also the lead vocalist of the electronic metal band Centiment as well as a solo artist both under his own name and under his rap alias MC PhD.
"Dancing with the Moonlit Knight" is a song by the progressive rock band Genesis. It was released on their 1973 album Selling England by the Pound. The song was originally going to be titled "Disney".
Daydream Anonymous is the third studio album by InMe and was released on 10 September 2007. It is the first album to feature Greg McPherson on bass. Following the release the band got back out on tour starting at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall on 15 September 2007.
"Wicked Annabella" is a song by English rock band the Kinks, appearing on their 1968 album The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society.The song was written by main songwriter Ray Davies, although sung by lead guitarist Dave Davies in a rare departure from tradition.
Provisions, Fiction and Gear is the third album, and the first on a major label, by the American alternative rock band MOTH.
Herald Moth is the fourth studio album by InMe, released on 14 September 2009. It is their only album to feature Ben Konstantinovic on guitar. Following Konstantinovic's departure, Gary Marlow joined the band on 1 February 2010. The album peaked at number 68 on the official UK albums chart.
"Single of the Weak" is the ninth single by Essex alternative metal band InMe. It was the first single to be released from their fourth album Herald Moth. It was released on 31 August 2009. The cover artwork for the promo CD was designed by bass player Greg McPherson and contains his brand new Inme logo. This was also the first Inme single to include the use of profane language and as such, a clean version was released to video and radio stations.
Mudvayne is the fifth and final studio album by American heavy metal band Mudvayne. It was released on December 21, 2009. The material from the album was recorded simultaneously with the material that appeared on The New Game. "Beautiful And Strange", a single from the band, was made available for streaming on the band's website and MySpace page on October 7, 2009. There was no tour to support the album, which had little promotion; sales were also weak.
"All Terrain Vehicle" / "Nova Armada" is the tenth single by Essex alternative metal band InMe. It was the second single to be released from their fourth album Herald Moth and was released on 6 June 2010. Both cover artworks and a special combined artwork were all created by Greg McPherson. The band promoted the single on the full UK "All Terrain Armada Tour".
Phoenix: The Best of InMe is a greatest hits collection put together from the British band InMe's first four albums spanning 8 years from 2002 to 2010. It was released on 27 September 2010.
The Hardship Diaries is the debut full-length solo release from InMe frontman Dave McPherson. The album was released on April 10, 2011 through PledgeMusic and Graphite Records.
Trilogy: Dawn was the sixth studio album from British alternative rock band InMe. The album was released in the UK on 4 May 2015 and was the first instalment of three albums in a trilogy. However, the second instalment, Trilogy: Sentience, as well as the third and final instalment, Trilogy: Quietus were never released. On 2 November 2018, InMe announced they would rather focus on their new album Jumpstart Hope and not on the second and third trilogy albums. This would also be the final album to feature Simon Taylor, before his departure from the band in October 2017.
