The song was released by Arista and Mega as a single in Europe and the US in 1993. It was written by band member Jonas Berggren, who also produced the song with Denniz Pop and Douglas Carr. "The Sign" is a techno-reggae, Europop, and pop ballad with lyrics describing a couple contemplating the state of their relationship.

Although the music video and radio edit of the song featured a remixed, clean version of the song, the original, explicit lyrics were featured on different versions of the track on the CD single.
"Let the Beat Control Your Body" is a song by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited. It was released by various labels in January 1994 as the fifth and final single from the band's second album, No Limits (1993). The album version is largely instrumental and contains just a few spoken words from bandmembers Ray Slijngaard and Anita Doth. The single version contains full verses rapped by Slijngaard and a new chorus sung by Doth, which were co-written by them both. The song enjoyed chart success in many European countries, peaking at number two in the Netherlands and within the top 10 in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom. It was nominated in the category for Best Song on MTV Awards. Nigel Simpkiss directed the music video for "Let the Beat Control Your Body".

It features a reference to "That's the Way Love Goes" by Janet Jackson and the accompanying music video, directed by La La Land, features the band performing on the beach by Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

The UK release was the first UK single to maintain all the rap lyrics from Ray used in the European release. E-Type won the prize for Best Swedish Dance Track 1996 at the 1997 Swedish Dance Music Awards with "This Is the Way".
"Impossible" is a song by German musician Captain Hollywood Project. It was released in October 1993 as the fourth single from his debut album, Love Is Not Sex (1993), and features vocals by singer Kim Sanders. It was a sizeable hit in several countries, but like "All I Want", it achieved moderate success in comparison with the two previous Captain Hollywood Project's singles, "More and More" and "Only with You". A music video was also produced, but it did not feature Sanders.
"Look Who's Talking!" is a song by Sweden-based musician and producer Dr. Alban, featuring vocals from Swedish singer Nana Hedin. It was released in February 1994 as the first single from his third studio album, Look Who's Talking (1994). Co-written by Alban with Denniz PoP, the song was co-produced by Kristian Lundin and reached number-one in Denmark and Finland. It became a top-10 in almost all other European countries, except France and the UK. The song entered the Eurochart Hot 100 on 12 March 1994 at number 61 and went on to peak at the second position four weeks later. In the US, it peaked at number 11 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. Its music video was directed by Jonathan Bate. A CD maxi containing four remixes was also released, particularly devoted to the dance floors.

Unlike their previous songs, "Love Religion" is more trance-oriented techno and pop. It takes its main melody from Giorgio Moroder's 1978 instrumental "The Chase". It was released by Lowland Records in June 1994 as the fourth single from the group's debut album, Dreams (1994), and is their most commercially successful single. Peaking at number-one in the Netherlands, the song was also used in the Dutch movies Flodder 3 and New Kids Nitro and in the Italian film Happy as Lazzaro.
"In Command" is a song by Swedish dance music duo Rob'n'Raz, featuring American singer Lutricia McNeal and rapper D-Flex. Released in November 1993 as the fourth single from the duo's second album, Clubhopping (1992), it became very successful in Sweden, peaking at number-one, with a total of 17 weeks within the Swedish singles chart. Additionally, the song peaked at number four in Finland and was a top 40 hit on the Eurochart Hot 100, reaching number 39 in January 1994. Outside Europe, it was a huge hit in Israel, peaking at number three. It also won an award in the category for Best Swedish Dance Track 1993 at the 1994 Swedish Dance Music Awards.
Obsession is a song recorded by Swedish band Army of Lovers. It is one of their most well-known songs and scored chart success across Europe. Released in September 1991 as the second single from their second album, Massive Luxury Overdose (1991), it soared to the number-one position on both the radio and the dance charts in Sweden. It also peaked at number two on the Swedish singles chart, number four in Belgium, number seven in Austria and Germany, and number nine in Spain. The lyrics are written by Alexander Bard and Anders Wollbeck, and the song is in part inspired by Laurie Anderson's 1981 song, "O Superman". Primarily, the "ah ah" looped backing track.
"The Ride" is a 1994 song by Swedish band Basic Element, featuring new singer Saunet Sparell and released as the first single from their second album, The Ultimate Ride (1995). It was very successful in Scandinavia, peaking at number two in both Sweden and Finland, and number five in Denmark. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached a respectable number 20. A music video was produced to promote the single, featuring Sparell as a villain that has kidnapped the guys of the band and is transporting them to somewhere on a speedboat.
