Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, Wales, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias. Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. A change of style from Jeff Killed John's style, led the band to change their name. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer. The band is part of the Cardiff music scene.
American Football is an American rock band from Urbana, Illinois, United States, originally active from 1997 until 2000 and reunited in 2014. Guitarist/bassist and singer Mike Kinsella, drummer and trumpet player Steve Lamos, and guitar player Steve Holmes formed the band. American Football reunited in 2014 and played a festival set and announced three headline shows in the fall of that year. They have since remained together.
Bear vs. Shark are an American post-hardcore band from Highland, Michigan. They were founded in 2001 and disbanded in 2005 after releasing one EP and two full-length studio albums while signed to Equal Vision Records. The band later reunited for some shows in 2016.

The song was released as the third single from the band's debut album The Poison, through Sony BMG Recordings on 3 February 2006 in Germany and released in United Kingdom through Visible Noise on 7 February 2006. The band originally recorded the song on their 2003 Jeff Killed John EP.. It is their highest charting single in the UK, peaking at #29. It is arguably the softest song on The Poison due to its use of an acoustic guitar and minimal screaming.
Socratic is an American rock band from Cranford and Linden, New Jersey. After signing to Drive-Thru Records in 2004, they released their debut full-length Lunch for the Sky in 2005, the Just Turn EP in 2006, Mark Hoppus-produced follow-up album Spread The Rumors in 2008 and their self-produced self-titled album Socratic in 2012. Socratic toured throughout their entire tenure performing in Japan, Australia, and the continental United States.
Sean Na Na is the guitar pop project of Sean Tillmann. The project started as a solo outlet for Tillmann's songs that did not quite fit with his noise band Calvin Krime in 1993. Since then, the project evolved into a full band with a rotating cast of characters from all over the musical map. Tillmann's debut single under the moniker of Sean Na Na was "Two of the Same Name", released in 1998. In early 2000, Kill Rock Stars released a split EP with Mary Lou Lord and his full-length debut album Dance 'Til Your Baby Is a Man. He released My Majesty in 2002. 2007's "Family Trees: Or CoPe We Must is the third full-length outing of the band.

The Fling is a band from Long Beach, CA consisting of Dustin Lovelis, Graham Lovelis, Justin Roeland, Joel Bond and Justin Ivey (drums). The band is known for alternating lead singer duties. Their sound has been described as "classic '60s pop, '90s alternative, and contemporary indie-rock clashing fluidly to create a strangely nostalgic effect." The band self-released their debut album, "When The Madhouses Appear," on Lady Monk Records, in late 2010, after which they toured alongside Delta Spirit and Darker My Love. The critically lauded self-released album earned them a deal with Dangerbird Records, who re-released the album in early 2011, as well as sessions on World Cafe and with KCRW’s Nic Harcourt. A 7-song EP "What I've Seen," was released in November 2011 and followed by a ten-week national tour. The band is currently working on its second full-length record and taking the process into their own hands and raising money directly through fans without the influence of a label.

There were two couples in the band. The band released four albums: Cool Nightmare, The Hands That Take You, Animals in the Median, and Synesthetica.

Eye Spy is a demo by Welsh metal band Jeff Killed John, known today as Bullet for My Valentine. Eye Spy contains two tracks. The first, "Eye Spy", is actually a demo of "Hit the Floor" from Bullet for My Valentine's album The Poison. The second song, "Don't Walk Away", is a second version of the one released on their debut EP Better Off Alone.
Jeff Killed John is the last EP by Welsh nu metal band Jeff Killed John, before changing their name to Bullet for My Valentine. This EP also marks the last recorded material with bassist Nick Crandle, before Jason James replaced him. Many song elements from this EP would be reworked into later tracks for Bullet for My Valentine music: "Routine Unhappiness" contains riff elements that would later become "Tears Don't Fall," with lyrical content that would appear on "10 Years Today;" "Nation2Nation" would eventually become the sampler track "Turn to Despair"; and "All These Things I Hate " is an early demo of the song of the same name that would eventually appear on Bullet for My Valentine's debut album The Poison.
World Gone Mad is the twelfth studio album by the American crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies, released on September 30, 2016. It is the band's first studio album to feature Dave Lombardo on drums, Ra Díaz on bass, and Jeff Pogan on rhythm guitar. Vocalist Mike Muir had stated that World Gone Mad could have been Suicidal Tendencies' final studio album, although he later retracted that statement.
