There is live music every night at the Rock Pub.
The Rock Pub opened their doors on March 1, 1987, and hundreds of local and international bands have played there since then. They celebrated their 27th anniversary on March 1, 2014.
For almost three decades, many rock bands have performed on the Rock Pub's stage. Over dozens of those became famous in Thailand's music industry. One of the reasons they all had agreed for their success is the experiences they gained from playing there night in and night out.
Artists from all over the world have also played at the Rock Pub: Sodom, Dragonforce, Doro, Exodus, Mr. Gary Bowden, Napalm Death and King Lychee (Hong Kong) are just some of the bands that put on performances at the Rock Pub.
The Rock Pub has seen and gone through different paths. The economy shock in 1997 almost put it out of business, but it stayed strong as the musicians and customers supported and stood by during tough times.
On every March 1 since 1987, rockers from all over Thailand have gathered up and celebrated each year that passed on.
Scum is the debut studio album by English grindcore band Napalm Death, released on 1 July 1987 by Earache Records. The two sides of the record were recorded by two different lineups in sessions separated by about a year; the only musician in both incarnations was drummer Mick Harris. The two sides are very different, and the two taken together serve to bridge stylistic elements of heavy metal and punk rock. While the songs on the A-side are influenced heavily by hardcore punk and anarcho-punk, the vocals and lower-tuned electric guitars on the B-side anticipate subsequent developments in extreme metal. Loudwire put it in the list of the best 10 metal albums of 1987.

Sodom is a German thrash metal band from Gelsenkirchen, formed in 1981. They have gone through many lineup changes, leaving bassist/vocalist Tom Angelripper as the only constant member. The band is currently composed of Angelripper, guitarists Frank "Blackfire" Gosdzik and Yorck Segatz, and drummer Toni Merkel. Along with Kreator, Destruction and Tankard, Sodom has been referred to as one of the "Big Four" of Teutonic thrash metal. Sodom heavily influenced the German black metal scene. In addition, the band is regarded as a pioneer of early death metal. Mike McPadden wrote that the most Venom-blackened of German "Three Kings", Sodom further merged thrash and death metal into a wicked and decadent sound.
Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1979 in Richmond, California. Their current lineup consists of guitarists Gary Holt and Lee Altus, bassist Jack Gibson, drummer Tom Hunting, and lead vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza. There are no original members left in Exodus other than Hunting, who has departed from the band twice, in 1989 and 2004, but rejoined in 2007. Exodus is also notable for including a then-unknown Kirk Hammett, who was the band's lead guitarist from its inception to his departure in 1983, when he left to join Metallica as Dave Mustaine's replacement. Holt has been most consistent member throughout various lineup changes and break-ups, and is the only member to appear on all of Exodus' recordings. Much of the band's career has also been affected by feuds between both band members and record companies, two extended hiatuses, deaths of former band members and drug addictions.
