The Sacrificed is an American Christian metal band who primarily play a power metal and progressive metal music. They come from Lakeland, Florida, where they started making music in 2005, with frontman Eli Prinsen. They released two studio albums, 2012 in 2010 and III in 2012, both with Roxx Productions.

The Sacrificed is a Christian metal band from Lakeland, Florida, where they formed in 2005. [1] Their members are lead vocalist, Eli Prinsen, lead guitarist, Michael Phillips, bassist, Daniel Cordova, and drummer, Jay Williams, with their past member being guitarist, Johnny Bowden. [1]

Music history

The band formed in 2005, [2] Their first release, an album called The DaVinci Hoax, was released independently in 2007. [3] They released 2012, a studio album, on June 22, 2010, with Roxx Productions. [4] [5] Their subsequent studio album, III, was released by Roxx Productions, on January 31, 2012. [6]

Bruce Fitzhugh is the second and best known lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of Arkansas's Christian metal band Living Sacrifice. The lead vocalist role was left to Bruce shortly after the departure of former lead Darren Johnson and prior to the recording of Living Sacrifice's 1997 album, Reborn. Fitzhugh is featured in Zao's The Lesser Lights of Heaven DVD. Fitzhugh's nephew is Drew Garrison, Vocalist for Descended From Wolves and Becoming Saints.

Sacred Warrior is a Christian heavy metal band formed in 1988 and based in Chicago, Illinois. Their music is often compared to that of Queensrÿche or Iron Maiden.

Jason Wisdom

Jason Wisdom is the former lead vocalist and bass guitarist for the Christian progressive death metal band Becoming the Archetype. Though he was born and raised in a Christian home, he states that he was never committed to Christianity until high school. He considers his music as a form of ministry, but wishes to avoid a "preachy" stereotype. His influences include Extol, Living Sacrifice, and Mortification among others. Wisdom is an avid fan of metal music, and Christian metal in particular. He notes that even though his music is Christian metal, many of his fans are not Christians and are many times the ones who defend his music. Wisdom left the band in late November 2011 to take care of his family. Though current 7 Horns 7 Eyes frontman, JJ Polachek, tried out, Wisdom was replaced by former live fill in, Chris McCane. He has recently started a solo project titled Death Therapy, which features no Guitars. He currently works for RYFO, a company that helps musicians with places to stay, meals and other such things.

<i>The Infinite Order</i> 2010 studio album by Living Sacrifice

The Infinite Order is the seventh studio album from Christian metal band Living Sacrifice released January 26, 2010. The album, produced by Jeremiah Scott and mixed by Andy Sneap marks a return for the band since their prior album in 2002. Because the manufacturer used the wrong master, the first pressing has an additional song "Of My Flesh, Of My Heart" on track 12 that was intended to be a bonus track on a possible European release. Future pressings will have the intended 11 tracks. They have since made a deluxe edition of the album available only through iTunes. The deluxe edition features new artwork, one bonus studio track, two live bonus tracks, and the In Finite Live DVD. Music videos were made for the songs "Rules of Engagement" and "Overkill Exposure". "Love Forgives" is inspired by the book of 1 Corinthians 13.

Sacrifice (band)

Sacrifice is a Canadian thrash metal band from Toronto, Ontario. The band was formed by guitarists Rob Urbinati and Joe Rico in 1983. Sacrifice played a prominent role in the 1980s underground metal scene in Toronto, and along with Voivod, Razor and Annihilator, they are considered one of the "big four" of Canadian thrash metal. The band released four studio albums before parting ways in 1993. After coming back together to play a reunion concert in 2006, they released their fifth studio album The Ones I Condemn on Brazilian label Marquee Records in 2009. Although the band faced numerous lineup changes, especially in their early days, founding guitarists Urbinati, Rico and bassist Scott Watts recorded every studio album and demo with drummer Gus Pynn on everything but the Apocalypse Inside demo and CD.

SNEW is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California. The quintet consists of founders Curtis Don Vito, Andy Lux, and Mark Ohrenberger (drums), along with Lenny Spickle, and Kelly Magee (bass). Formed in 2005, SNEW has released three albums and has sustained a steady tour schedule along the West Coast along with occasional major festival appearances. The band's influences are varied, consisting of Motörhead, Alice Cooper, Ramones, Kiss, AC/DC and MC5.

The Burial are an American, Christian technical death metal band. Members are from South Bend, Indiana, Benton Harbor, Michigan and Champaign, Illinois. The band started making music in 2005. The band now consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Elisha Mullins, lead guitarist, Todd Hatfield, drummer, Kaleb Luebchow, and bass guitarist, Alex Poole. The band released one EP, Age of Deceit, in 2009 with Sancrosanct Records. They signed with Strike First Records, where they released, The Winepress, a studio album, in 2010. False Idle is an American Christian hardcore band from Boise, Idaho. The band started making music in 2010, and their members are lead vocalist and guitarist, Sef Idle, lead guitarist and background vocalist, Tyler Lewis, bassist and background vocalist, Seth Warren, and drummer and background vocalist, Phil Harris. The band has released four extended plays, Hymns of Punk Rock Praise, in 2010, I Refuse, in 2011, California or Bust, in 2013, and a split EP with the band, A Common Goal, Split Decision, in 2014, all with Thumper Punk Records. Their first full-length studio album, Threat, was released in 2013 by Thumper Punk Records.

Creations were an Australian Christian hardcore and Christian metal band who primarily played Beatdown Hardcore with Metalcore influences. They come from Sydney, NSW, Australia. The band started making music in 2009. Their first two studio albums, The Gospel and Unworthy/Humility, were released by Mediaskare Records alongside Rite of Passage Music, correspondingly in 2011 and 2013. The band announce they were disbanding in 2016.

Songs of Death and Resurrection is the eleventh studio album from American heavy metal band Demon Hunter, released by Solid State Records on March 5, 2021. Three singles were released ahead of the album. This album mainly features acoustic renditions of the band's earlier songs such as "Dead Flowers" and "The Heart of a Graveyard", as well as featuring a new song, "Praise the Void".
