The Secret World of Benjamin Bear is a Canadian animated television series and a joint effort produced by Amberwood Entertainment, Secret Bear Productions, and produced with the participation of Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund including animation by Philippine Animation Studio. [1] It originally aired on Family Channel from 2003–2009. 52 episodes were produced. [2]

The Secret World of Benjamin Bear is a continuation series following The Teddy Bears' Picnic (1989), The Teddy Bears' Christmas (1992), and The Teddy Bears' Scare (1998) which were set in the mid-20th century with the young Simon and Sally Tanner, and follows the new adventures of Benjamin Bear, set years later in the 2000s where he's now owned by Max Tanner, the son of the now older Simon Tanner. Benjamin is accompanied by his teddy housemate and best friend Howie Bear who, following the same theme of the original Teddy Bears' series with Wally, is young and inexperienced, and must learn from Ben.

"The Teddy Bears' Picnic" is a song consisting of a melody written in 1907 by American composer John Walter Bratton, and lyrics added in 1932 by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy. It remains popular in Ireland and the United Kingdom as a children's song, having been recorded by numerous artists over the decades. Kennedy lived at Staplegrove Elm and is buried in Staplegrove Church, in Taunton, Somerset, England. Local folklore has it that the small wooded area between the church and Staplegrove Scout Hut was the inspiration for his lyrics.

My Little Pony Tales is an American animated television series produced by Sunbow Productions and distributed by Graz Entertainment, with animation being produced by AKOM. The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin is a children's animated television series based on Teddy Ruxpin, an electronic children's toy created by Ken Forsse and distributed by toy manufacturer Worlds of Wonder (WoW9. Produced in 1986–7 for television syndication by DIC Enterprises with Atkinson Film-Arts, the series employed many of the same voice actors used in the book-and-tape series that was made for the eponymous animatronic toy. While some of the stories used in the TV series were adapted from the books, many were original and greatly expanded upon the world established there. The series differed from traditional children's animation at the time in that most of its 65 episodes were serialized rather than in traditional episodic form.

The Forgotten Toys is a 1997–99 British animated comedy television series based on the children's book The Night After Christmas. It was made by Hibbert Ralph Entertainment, featuring the voices of Joanna Lumley and Bob Hoskins. It is a poignant tale of abandoned toys who are searching for children to love them. It aired on CITV in the UK, on ABC in Australia.

Make Way for Noddy is an animated television series produced by British studio Chorion in conjunction with American studio SD Entertainment. Since 2007, Nev has starred in his own CBBC show Bear Behaving Badly, alongside Barney Harwood. His name was created from the name of his co-star Dev Griffin on Smile. He was last seen on Hacker Time when Derek puts Nev on Line 1 for Barney Harwood. Nev has patches in places on his body and is missing part of his ear. This is due to Bandit the cat, who is seen in some episodes of Bear Behaving Badly, biting it off.

The Tangerine Bear is a 48-minute animated film for children which was released direct to video on November 11, 2000. It was directed by Bert Ring, and is based on the 1997 book of the same name by Betty Paraskevas and Michael Paraskevas. Almost Naked Animals is a Canadian animated television series produced by 9 Story Entertainment for YTV. The series was created by Noah Z. Jones, and is based upon an art website that he created in 2005. The series premiered on January 7, 2011 on YTV and ended on May 22, 2013. It also aired on Cartoon Network in the United States, CITV in the United Kingdom on April 11, 2011, and ABC3 in Australia on May 27, 2011.

Teddybears is a British children's television programme broadcast on ITV from early 1998 to 2000, based on the books by Susanna Gretz. The show was about the life of five coloured teddy bears and their dog Fred. The show was filmed by Meridian Broadcasting. Journalists have compared Teddybears as being similar to and a rival of Teletubbies which was also produced around that time. However the series was targeted at older children.
