The Tenderfoot is an English indie rock band featuring members Darren Moon (also of the Modern Ovens), [1] Gavin Moon, Russell Prior, Joel Gibson and Marc Beatty of Brakes. [2]

Contents

The band has released two albums to date: Vale Industrial in 2004 [3] and Save The Year in 2005 both on Sony BMG's 5:15 label. [4]

The Tenderfoot's debut was well received, with plays on BBC Radio 1, London's Xfm and 6Music [5] [6]

Members of the band are also associated with acts such as Brakes and The Modern Ovens. [7]

The Tenderfoot also featured on a 2006 Qmagazine compilation Mellow Gold alongside Evan Dando, I Am Kloot and Elliott Smith and on a British Sea Power B-Side for the song "A Lovely Day Tomorrow". [8] [9]

In 2008, the song "People are the Problem" was featured on the Independents Day ID08 compilation album. [10]

Rob Schnapf is an American record producer and musician. He was the co-producer of Elliott Smith's albums Either/Or, XO, Figure 8 and From a Basement on the Hill, for which he was recruited by Smith's family to complete after Smith's death.

Hvarf/Heim is a compilation album by Sigur Rós. Its original CD release comprises two discs: Hvarf contains studio versions of previously unreleased songs, while Heim contains live acoustic versions of songs already released. The songs on Heim are the same recordings found in the documentary Heima. In 2008 EMI released a single-disc version in which Heim is simply tracklisted to follow Hvarf. In 2012, the albums were issued on vinyl for the first time to be sold on Record Store Day.

Intimacy Remixed is the remix album to Intimacy, the third album by indie rock band Bloc Party. It was released on 11 May 2009 in the United Kingdom through Wichita Recordings, the band's primary label, in limited edition CD and triple LP formats to coincide with Bloc Party's worldwide touring schedule. The record entered the UK Album Chart at number 79. In the United States, it achieved a peak of number 15 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

<i>The Hungry Saw</i> 2008 studio album by Tindersticks

The Hungry Saw is the seventh studio album by British alternative band Tindersticks, released on 28 April 2008 by Beggars Banquet Records. Following the release of the band's sixth album, Waiting for the Moon in 2003, Tindersticks had entered an extended hiatus before reconvening to perform at the Don't Look Back event in September 2006. This concert marked the final performance of the original line-up of the band, and three members left the group shortly afterwards. The remaining members of Tindersticks felt reinvigorated by the performance, and relocated to France to begin working on new material in the summer of 2007, recording and producing the album at their own Le Chien Chanceaux studio in Limousin. The Hungry Saw was the first new Tindersticks material in five years.

Mr Twin Sister, formerly known as Twin Sister, is an American band from New York City. Their music has been described as chill wave, indie pop, dream pop, and disco. They have been compared to Cocteau Twins and Portishead. They have toured the US and Europe and have so far released three EPs and four LPs.
