Bob Budiansky is an American comic book writer, editor, and penciller, best known for his work on Marvel's Transformers comic. He also created the Marvel character Sleepwalker and wrote all 33 issues of that comic.

Death's Head is a fictional character appearing in British comics and American comic books both published by Marvel Comics. The character is a robotic bounty hunter, and often ends sentences with "yes?". The character was created by writer Simon Furman and artist Geoff Senior for the company's Marvel UK imprint. Furman originally planned to have Death's Head debut in his stories for Marvel's licensed title The Transformers, but believed that characters appearing there "were prone to be absorbed into that title's catchall copyright," allowing Transformers toy-line owner Hasbro to contest its ownership. This led to a one-page strip, "High Noon Tex" being hastily created to establish Marvel's ownership of the character. Furman said he chose the name Death's Head for the character while being unaware of the "Nazi-connotations of the name", referring to the Waffen-SS Totenkopf Division, whose name translates to "death's head".
Simon Christopher Francis Furman is a British comic book writer who is best known for his work on Hasbro's Transformers franchise, starting with writing Marvel's initial comic book to promote the toyline worldwide, as well as foundations for both Dreamwave Production's and IDW Publishing's takes on the Generation 1 minifranchise.
There have been three main publishers of the comic book series bearing the name Transformers based on the toy lines of the same name. The first series was produced by Marvel Comics from 1984 to 1991, which ran for 80 issues and produced four spin-off miniseries. This was followed by a second volume titled Transformers: Generation 2, which ran for 12 issues starting in 1993. The second major series was produced by Dreamwave Productions from 2002 to 2004 with multiple limited series as well, and within multiple story continuities, until the company became bankrupt in 2005. The third and fourth series have been published by IDW Publishing with the third series starting with an issue #0 in October 2005 and a regular series starting in January 2006 to November 2018. The fourth series started in March 2019 with issue #1 and is currently still being produced. There are also several limited series being produced by IDW as well. In addition to these three main publishers, there have also been several other smaller publishers with varying degrees of success.
Geoff Senior is a British artist, best known for his work in the comic book field in the 1980s, mainly for Marvel UK. Senior is perhaps best remembered for his art for the Marvel Transformers series.
Andrew Wildman is a British artist, best known for his work in comics, mainly for Marvel Comics. Wildman worked on numerous Marvel UK's titles in the late 1980s, including Galaxy Rangers, Thundercats, The Real Ghostbusters, and Transformers. His first strip work on Transformers came in #198 for the story "Cold Comfort and Joy". He would rapidly ascend to being one of the key members of the title's art team, often working with inker Stephen Baskerville.

Mark D. Bright is an American comic book and storyboard artist. Sometimes credited as Doc Bright, he is best known for pencilling the Marvel Comics Iron Man story Armor Wars, the two Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn miniseries for DC Comics, for painting the cover to Marvel Comics' Transformers #5 and for co-creating Quantum and Woody with writer Christopher J. Priest. Bright later became a freelance storyboard artist, although he and Priest reunited for a five-issue Quantum and Woody miniseries published by the new incarnation of Valiant Comics in 2014–2015, but set in the continuity of the original Quantum and Woody series.
Auto Assembly, was first in development in 1994 under the name "Auto Assembly" and la-Con and officially founded in 2000 by Sven Harvey. Auto Assembly was a Transformers convention held in Birmingham, UK and run by the science-fiction fan organisation Infinite Frontiers. The first event was held in October 2000 and was held annually until the final event in 2015. The event was very originally called "The Auto-Assembly", and came to be referred to colloquially as "AA".
