The Ultimate W Expert Challenge is a three-part Canadian reality series produced by General Purpose Pictures that aired on W Network in Canada in summer 2009. Hosted by Karen Bertelsen, also the host of Playing House, the program took seven experts from all across Canada and made them compete in various challenges for the title of the Ultimate W Expert.
Each episode revolves around one major challenge, hosted by Karen Bertlesen. The challenges included making a presentation to a boardroom full of children, hosting a divorce party for a fake couple played by actors and speaking in front of a mall crowd. Each challenge was judged by hosts of current W Shows. The guest judges included:

Iron Chef is a Japanese television cooking show produced by Fuji Television. The series, which premiered on October 10, 1993, was a stylized cook-off featuring guest chefs challenging one of the show's resident "Iron Chefs" in a timed cooking battle built around a specific theme ingredient. The series ended on September 24, 1999, although four occasional specials were produced from January 5, 2000, to January 2, 2002. The series aired 309 episodes. Repeats are regularly aired on the Food Network in Canada, the Cooking Channel in the United States, and on Special Broadcasting Service in Australia. Iron Chef can be viewed on Peacock TV in the United States. There are 5 spinoffs, with the latest being Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.

My Kitchen Rules is an Australian competitive cooking game show broadcast on the Seven Network since 2010. Top Chef Canada is a Canadian reality competition television series and is considered one of the most prestigious culinary competitions in Canada. The show premiered on April 11, 2011, on Food Network Canada. The first season consisted of 13 episodes, with 16 contestants vying for a grand prize of $100,000 and a GE Monogram kitchen valued at $30,000. Like the original American series, each week the chef contestants compete against each other in culinary challenges. Contestants are judged by a panel of professional chefs and other notables from the food and wine industry, with one or more contestants being eliminated each week. The Canadian edition uses the same graphics and music as the American version of the program.

The seventh and final season of StarStruck, is a 2019 Philippine television reality talent competition show, was broadcast on GMA Network. The season ended with 28 episodes on September 15, 2019, having Shayne Sava and Kim de Leon as the Ultimate Survivors.

The new season was first announced by Food Network Canada on August 17, 2022.The season was filmed in Toronto, Ontario and also included an international travel destination for the first time in the competition's history, when they travelled to the Cayman Islands for the finale and penultimate episode.
