The Wall Museum is a private museum in Berlin that presents the history of the Berlin Wall and the decades-long division. The museum opened in March 2016. [1] The current Director General is Mr. Jaka Bizilj. [2]
The museum is located in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg on the banks of the Spree River within an open-air visual arts expression known as the East Side Gallery. The roof of the building, a former mill warehouse, was used as a border watchtower during the Deutsche Demokratische Republik (DDR) era.
