Lee John Thomas Starck, better known by his stage name Leeroy Stagger, is a Canadian alternative country singer-songwriter based in Lethbridge, Alberta. He has released a number of albums of his own music, produced albums for several other musicians, and has toured around North America.
The Rural Alberta Advantage is a Canadian indie rock band that formed in 2005 in Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of Nils Edenloff on lead vocals and guitar, Amy Cole on keyboards, bass, and backing vocals, and Paul Banwatt on drums. They have released four albums and are signed to Paper Bag Records in Canada and Saddle Creek Records internationally. In 2011, they were nominated for a Polaris Music Prize.
Hometowns is the debut album by Canadian indie rock band The Rural Alberta Advantage. Originally released independently in early 2008, the album gained international exposure when the band was selected as eMusic's featured artist of the month for November 2008.
